Handsome and rare table lamp which I believe is a piece of the hard to find early Roseville arts & crafts pottery, c. Matte pottery in a hard to describe color which looks like a mixture of green, blue and brown. The electric socket is obviously quite new but the cord is very old and the metal fitting at the mouth has a nice dull copper/brass look and has age. The lamp is in working condition and the pottery has no issues except for a few whitish areas which may be light scratches. The socket looks a bit crooked. SIZE: Pottery part measures 8 (20cm) which is correct for form 45 in the Roseville Early Carnelian range. Overall height is 11.5 (29cm). MARKS: I think I can see a “5” and possibly a “4” (see last photo) but these early pieces were often not marked. Other countries please enquire for a quote. Please take a look at my other Auctions! Rare Early 20th Century Indian Hardwood Campaign Folding Tray Table. A rare Indian hardwood rectangular campaign tray table. The galleried top has bamboo design carving to the edges and is further ornately carved with flowers, leaves, etc. The polished centre of the tray is inscribed “Anita October 29th 1913 Srinagar” Supported on an’X’ shaped foldable base.
