A pair of jamaica bar stools made by Amat Spain and designed by Pepe Cortes. Later produced by Knoll International. One of the chairs till bares traces of the old label of Amat. Early production and the wooden chairs are no longer in production. Hard to find them in beech wood. Very nice modern design. Rare early english Slit head antique wax doll Twins all original Stunning

Beautiful very rare antique wax over slit head twins in fantastic original condition. Dating to approx 1840. Both measure just over 17 heigh, their outfits are identical consisting of 5 layers, long knickers, chemise, woolen underskirt, calico under dress and a delicate shear cotton over dress, one has a pink ribbon sash and hair ribbons the other blue. I do not think the clothing has ever been removed from them and I have not undressed them. Their eyes are both pupil less glass eyes and their hair is all original mohair that has been inserted into the slit on their heads and still retains their lovely ringlets. The doll with pink ribbons has green leather arms and the blue one tan leather arms both with no damage. Their body’s are obviously fabric and there is no leaking sawdust from either of them. They really are super and very rare to find twins, I will list what faults I can find on each doll individually and you are free to ask for more photos. Pink ribbon doll, tiny hole 1/4 cm to one side of dress which is unnoticeable really, maybe some hair missing just below the ribbon at the back of on her hair, ribbons faded but still have colour. Blue ribbon doll – small nick in fabric to back of dress (not really noticeable) blue ribbon split at the back that could easily be sewn. Ribbon frayed at side of waist, one eyebrow missing, easily can be drawn back on. Tiny little dent to 1st layer of wax to her chin again not really noticeable. I have never removed their clothes so cannot garentee what their bodies are like but judging by the rest of both of the dolls the body’s will be perfect and they feel just fine and very robust with no leaking sawdust. Rare Antique Early 19th Century White Metal Pomander Or Tea Ball No Reserve

Being offered For sale this Rare Antique White Metal Pomander or tea ball with No reserve. I originally thought this was a Tea ball but the open fret work is too open to keep tea leaves in. I showed it to a silver specialist friend who said it looks like a pomander due to its size and the double chains it is hung on. The ball is crafted in a white metal and is beautifully pierced i think by hand as there is some irregularities in the piercing work. It also has the number 32 stamped inside the lid i don’t know what this is for but worth mentioning. The lid is hinged and works well i think these are the original chains there are a few dints but this is to be expected with age. The ball measures 13.5cm around the middle and weighs 21.6 gms. Please study photos in depth as these are a part of the description. All measurements are approximate all stones have been measured with a Moe diamond weight calculator and a diamond spread sheet. ULTRA RARE ANTIQUE SUFFRAGETTE TOBACCO JAR EARLY 20th CENTURY

This is an extremely rare tobacco jar? Probably made in Germany in the early part of the 20th century and certainly before the outbreak of WW1 in 1914. There is no pottery/makers mark that I can see on the item. This is very rare and can only be termed as’anti-suffragettes’ or at least poking’fun’ at them. This two piece jar shows a woman in a hat shouting the words’I say down with the trousers’ which are shown along the front of the base. She wears a shoulder sash and hat cockade of green/white/purple, the. Of the Woman’s Congressional Union (headed by Alice Paul) and later the Woman’s Suffrage Party, as well as. Pankhurst’s English Woman’s Social and Political Union. The hat is detachable. It does have a 1cm chip and a couple of very small chips to the inside rim of the lower half, which are not noticeable with the hat part placed on top (see photos). The hat/lid does have a hairline crack, but is barely visible, if at all, when inspected from above (ie can only really be seen from the inside). The paint work around the top of the blue eyes is a little rough and there is some loss of paint, but consumate with a piece that is over 100 years old. It does have some other small marks to its exterior but nothing major. Please take a look at the photos (which you should be able to zoom in upon) to judge the condition for yourself as these form part of this item description. Overall this is still a great looking piece and this is your chance to own a rare piece of British political history. It measures 5.5 inches high by 3 inches across the base. Rare & early Uncle Remus teddy bear

Rare & early Uncle Remus teddy bear. This hunky boy measures just shy of 17 and is quite the beefcake! He has his original deep set reverse painted glass eyes. His extremely long curved arms move freely and are thick and chunky. Original felt pads on all paws. Hand pads have beautifully done darning and one small area at the foot pad seam has this lovely darning as well. Five claws on feet and some have popped on hands. All joints move freely and I see no repairs at all. He wears a gorgeous silk handmade collar. He has a fabulous profile and a look like no other with a very nice covering of mohair. Uncle Remus bears were only made for two years, 1906 and 1907. Joel Chandler Harris, the author of the Uncle Remus stories, died in 1908. Following his death, these bears were no longer marketed. This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL RARE GIANT steampunk early industrial antique gauge display on plaque including the matching pressure switch brass face. Gauge made right here in the early 1900’s by Hohmann & Maurer Company out of Rochester New York Just a short history on Hohmann & Maurer. Hohmann & Maurer began business in Manhattan around 1885, and moved to Brooklyn soon thereafter. It became a division of Taylor Bros. And moved to Rochester in 1896. You cannot find a gauge of this quality and most are now hanging in museums! There is plenty of room to install display lighting inside of the gauges, would look great with colored LEDs! The mercury has been removed from both pieces and the original glass thermometer and gauge covers are in tact. You can see the marking Pat’d Dec. 17, 1907 and Pat’d Mar.
