Item is a brown characterful, distressed antique/vintage steamer trunk with original green and cream striped lift-out tray. Interior also green and cream striped. Features wooden bands and metal reinforcement. The metal clasps are in good working order. The lock opens and shuts easily, but there is no key. Date unknown but probably made early 20th century. Inscribed with the letters “DA”. The trunk belonged to my grandfather, David Auchterlonie who lived in Grangemouth.
