Quite a lovely piece and will make a great addition to any appreciator of Staffordshire pottery. Some damage to foliage – see attached images. Some roughness and fleabites around the bottom rim, commensurate with age. Minor areas of paint loss. Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering. For sale a rare and substantial Art Deco part-frosted Kneeling Maidens glass centrepiece, produced in Germany circa 1930s. The maker of this beautiful centrepiece is currently unknown amongst collectors, however stylistically it’s very similar to Walther & Sohne’s output of the period, especially their Glasgow centrepiece. Weight (unpacked) 2254 grams. The centrepiece is in excellent condition. There are 3 production mould lines/imperfections which can be seen at the same place between each figure, near the crease to the top drape, please see last few photos. For sale today we have this Beautiful & Rare William Moorcroft for James Macintyre Florian Peacock Feather pattern vase. Of twin handled form the vase is beautifully tubelined in an Art Nouveau style with tall and slender Peacock feathers inset with delicate Forget-Me-Not flowers and borders of stylised foliage that cover the entirety of the piece. Fish scale border to the inner neck rim. Coloured to the classic Florian Blue on Blue colourway. This gorgeous vase stand 5″ tall x 4″ wide, hand signed “W Moorcroft des” along with a stamped Florian mark and Reg design number. Dates to circa 1901.
