Stunning Rare Early Victorian Burr Walnut Games Table Lift Top Fret Work Carved

There are around 50-100 high definition super-sized pictures at the bottom of this page. A very decorative and well made piece, the burr walnut veneer looks good enough to eat from every angle, if luscious timber patina is your thing then look no further as this table has it in spades. The table has a lift top, the underside of the lid shows you just how rich the colour could be if you had this piece fully restored to include a French polish, personally I like the slightly duller colour, its shows the honesty of age. As mentioned you have lovely fretwork carved lids inside, ideally suited for cards and general nick knacks relating to games. The table has very high end inlaid detailing, the skill and craftsmanship required is absolutely mind blowing. The legs are carved to the top in the traditional English manor. The condition is period so has some normal scratches and marks here and there, theres nothing serious to note other than some raised sections to the veneer here and there and general little cracks. Ercol Blonde Dressing Table with Mirror Rare (Early 50s/60s)

ERCOL MODEL 408 DRESSING TABLE WITH MIRROR. Beautiful original Ercol Blonde Model 408 Dressing Table and Mirror in excellent condition and still with glass sliders in end drawers. There are gentle signs of wear to be expected with age. The table is in fine condition, with beautiful shine and depth of colour, near immaculate. As you would expect from Ercol, it is beautifully crafted, made from solid elm with, the exception of the nicely grained elm veneered back panels, and has lovely dovetail joints to the corners. The blue marker tabs are still visible, however have started peeling given its age. It measures 114cm wide x 54 cm deep (Top itself is 48cm). Height to table is 74cm, and to top of mirror 123cm. Rare Midcentury Ferrari Old Timer Toucan Table Lamp Early Version Vintage. A lovely example of a desirable Ferrari Old Timer Toucan lamp, in orange yellow and black. In great condition, some signs of ageing, minor marks and very faint scratch marks , see pics. No signs of yellowing or melting on the beak. The lamp is a model made in the early months of production, as seen by both the colour and base plate where it is unmarked. Some internet research will explain the changes in the base during production see vintageinfo. Be/toucan-table-lamp. Still has original fitting and will include adaptor. Rare Early/ 50s Ercol Blonde Dressing Table with Mirror & 60s Dressing Chair MCM

Ercol Blonde Dressing Table with Mirror. & Model 414 Low Backed Dressing Chair. I have found it seriously hard to part with this – such a beautiful set! ERCOL MODEL 408 DRESSING TABLE WITH MIRROR. Beautiful original Blue Label Ercol Blonde Model 408 Dressing Table and Mirror in excellent condition and still with glass sliders in end drawers. Adjustable carved wood threaded pins fully in tact to rear of mirror. Please note this has the older style circular knobs – so a rare, early Ercol piece. The later 60s version has oval knobs and a carved recess behind the knobs. There are gentle signs of wear commensurate with age, and the previous owner had this from new and looked after it with pride. There is a scratch to the back of the mirror (picture 11) and a small, hard to notice blemish on the top surface (see picture 12 with 10p piece) this is truly hardly noticeable, I only saw it because I was looking for it! I would still say this dressing table is in fine condition, especially for its age, with beautiful shine and depth of colour, near immaculate. As you would expect from Ercol, it is beautifully crafted, made from solid elm with, the exception of the nicely grained elm veneered back panels, and has lovely dovetail joints to the corners. Original Ercol dressing chair model 414 designed in 1950’s in excellent condition. This particular chair was made in 1960 – there is a stamped kite mark on the underside as pictured. It is beautifully made with a solid elm seat and the rest in beech and is strong and sturdy. It measure 42cms wide x 41cms deep x 64cms high x 42cms to seat. This is a very rare French farmhouse hunting table table à gibier sourced in the Loire Valley – from the early 18th Century. This table was used to present game after a hunt, which was considered to be a pastime of Royalty and the privileged class. This table that features 2 drawers (one in the front and one on the side) can be used as kitchen / dining table (it can sit up to 6 people) or a kitchen island. It shows some signs of wear consistent with age and use and signs of extinct woodworm holes that we have treated for good measure. Full of character this table crafted in beech, elm and oak has aged to a stunning very light colour and would make the most stunning statement piece in any home. Rare Early Georgian Figured Walnut Lowboy Table, Initials to top, Country House

This is a handsome and well aged antique early Georgian lowboy which dates to the 1700s. It is a modestly sized piece of furniture, not particularly large or heavy, so perfect for a room with limited space. The lowboy has a fantastic amount of character and was found in a rural country house in South Devon. Figured walnut with pine lined drawers the lowboy has a central frieze drawer, shaped apron and flanking deep drawers. It is set on chamfered legs with slightly swept terminals and to the top the initials’B. S. G’ have been carved on the left hand side. The wood has a polished finish and is very well aged. The lowboy is generally in good structural condition having been checked over in our workshop, cosmetically there are many marks of age and use with various patch repairs to the veneer on the table top. There are old inactive woodworm holes to one side panel and one leg has been repaired. The handles are most certainly a later addition and the lock to the central drawer is a later replacement. This piece is well aged and pretty ancient looking, perfect if you love old, well aged furniture. The measurements are taken at the widest points. Very Rare Early 19th C Gilt Brass Japanese Bracket Or Table Clock Makura Dokei

A very fine and rare early 19. Century gilt brass Japanese bracket / table clock or Makura Dokei in need of restoration. The plated lantern type spring driven movement with balance wheel and verge escapement, the balance with silk suspension. Originally with datework and dial with adjustable hour chapters. Gilt brass case/frame beautifully engraved with foliate sprays and devices. Beautifully turned frame pillars. Rosewood base with convex friese in which is the key drawer. The mechanism is complete but lacks the original dial and datewheels. The striking train is missing only the gathering pallet for the countwheel. A very fine and rare clock but in need of a little careful restoration. Please see images below. At the top of the images below I have included a short video to give you an idea of how the strike mechanism runs. Please allow the video to load before playing it through. In very good but incomplete condition and as seen. The whole clock retains its original gilding in exceptionally good condition. The movement is in very good condition but missing the dial, hand, date wheels and gathering. Pallet for the count wheel. The wheel trains run smoothly when pressure is applied and the escapoement operates and the clock strikes (see videos). The bell rings perfectly with a silvery tone. Overall height of clock to top of bell finial and including wooden base 11.2 cm (4 3/8). Overall height of clock to top of finial but excluding wooden base 9.8 cm (3 7/8). Top and bottom plates 8.7 cm x 5 cm (3 7/16 x 2). Height frame excluding finials 6.6 cm (2 5/8). Packed weight 1.26 kg. Size 30 X 23 X 14 cm. Nice Rare Early 17th Century Oak Refectory Table

Rare Early 17th Century Oak Refectory Table with later elements namely being the repairs to the feet. The frieze rails carved with a scrolling strap work serpent design joined by carved cup and cover legs & box stretcher. Original top lighter in colour due to sunlight. Condition: Apart from treating it for woodworm and giving it a thoroughly good wax it is as found. Age related knocks, bumps, period repairs to feet, legs/feet have been tipped, historic woodworm damage, all the right signs of the age. However it is structurally sound there is no movement in any of the joints. The top lifts off. 186 cm long 72cm high.
