Frequently also spelled Deutch was a famous 1940s Chicago pottery artist (Wilmette suburban Chicago also). Some similar works of his have been on display at the famous Art Institute in Chicago. Clearly signed on the bottom as E. Deutsch but unfortunately no date – we do know that the 1940s was his productive time period.
