SOLID SILVER Very Very rare Novelty Punch Vesta Case. This is an import. We have spent a long time finding this info regarding punch. The Vesta case was Imported into London. On the base it does say 925 with writing wrote in Danish. In 35 years this is my first Punch Vesta Case. There is no engraving on the case. Very clean tidy Vesta. And also stands up on his own. Please zoom in on all the pictures. Opens & closes no issues. In full working order. If you collect Vesta Cases you will not see one of theses in a long time and the condition is fantastic. The weight of the Vesta case is 20.5 grams. The height is 7.5 cm. Very sort after to get a Vesta case in this condition its beautiful. In 35 years this is the only one I have seen I have seen them in antique magazines very hard to come by. We Will try and send the next day. Here we have a Rare Antique early 1800’s hallmarked Dutch foreign Imported Solid Silver Box also fully hallmarked London 1891 at the time of importation however i have found that the box might be a lot earlier going back to the very early years of the 1800. The box is fully Embossed scroll and flowers around the sides with a fully gilded interior and the scene on the lid depicts activity within a household around 1657, this date is written in Roman numerals within the scene. The box itself has had a few knocks over the years but nothing excessive as can be seen in the photos. The measurements are 132mm x 85mm x 53mm depth. The weight is 351 grams. A very rare early French antique solid sterling silver wine taster. It is hallmarked with the French charge and discharge marks for 1768 – 1774, pre French Revolution. It has been superbly made having a scroll handle and engraved initials. It is in good condition for its age being free from splits and repairs, there are a few slight dinks to the raised decoration and one tiny pin hole – see final photo (worth getting sorted on such a rare piece). It is nice and clean inside. 4 inches (10cm) wide including the handle by 3.25 inches (8cm) excluding it by 1 inch (2.6cm) tall to the top of the handle and and weighs 84 grams. THIS HALLMARK WAS ONLY USED BETWEEN 29TH MAY 1837 TO 20TH JUNE 1837 LESS THAN A MONTH. Antique 188 Year Old Solid Silver basting, gravy or Stuffing Spoon, Fully Hallmarked For London 1837. Fully hallmarked For RICHARD BRITTON 1827 TO 1840 the hallmarks are very crisp & clear, making this a very collectable and much sought after Large Basting Spoon. The Basting Spoon is 30cm/11.75 inches Long, and weighs a very impressive 116gms, there is a monogramme to the handle with the letters AAH in script I believe, but please see pictures to confirm for yourself. The Hallmarks are clearly struck, the spoon is made of a very good gauge of silver. This Basting spoon is 188 years old and has been used, for its age it is in good Antique condition, no dinks or dents to the bowl very little sign of wear, surface scratching commensurate with age, nothing to spoil the over all look of the spoon. A VERY RARE AND COLLECTABLE SOLID SILVER BASTING/GRAVY SPOON FROM A FINE ENGLISH SILVERSMITH.
