Rare Early 18th Century French Silver & Black Shagreen Necessaire Etui Case. Measures 9cm x 3.7cm x 1.7cm. A beautiful very rare french etui case with, unusually, 2 tools still present. After nearly 300 years the piece has survived in wonderful sound condition. The original black shagreen covering is all still present and in fine condition, the catch and lid mechanism all work perfectly. The solid silver applique work is in fine condition and has only one loss.

SOLID SILVER Very Very rare Novelty Punch Vesta Case. This is an import. We have spent a long time finding this info regarding punch. The Vesta case was Imported into London. On the base it does say 925 with writing wrote in Danish. In 35 years this is my first Punch Vesta Case. There is no engraving on the case. Very clean tidy Vesta. And also stands up on his own. Please zoom in on all the pictures. Opens & closes no issues. In full working order. If you collect Vesta Cases you will not see one of theses in a long time and the condition is fantastic. The weight of the Vesta case is 20.5 grams. The height is 7.5 cm. Very sort after to get a Vesta case in this condition its beautiful. The original wireless communication device! I made no attempt to unscrew and open the original oak case, however it weighs in excess of 5lbs, and has nothing loose inside, so appears to be complete. Certainly, technically untested, but is the condition of the exterior is any indication, this rare piece was very well cared for. Please see pics for further description and condition.

Antique Rare MacKenzie Polygraph Machine in Original Case – Early 1900s. Very interesting small machine. Wind the small end winder and some type of a clockwork device ticks away for awhile. Then if the other larger winder is wound some the little polygraph paper reel roller rotates (after the clock part stops ticking I guess – I looked over and it was turning – can’t really get it to do it on command – so hmmmm – there is also a on/off and some type of a calibration screw control). I do not have access to the instructions, so I know there is much more to getting it to work properly. All parts shown included. The tubing and leather straps have aged. The case inside has some deterioration and had some “flakes” of something in there (still a residue of that). The main metal attachments are in good condition. It looks like the original ink bottle, but is empty. The outer case is cool looking and in good condition. The case measures approx. 10″ x 6 ” 4 1/2. The metal device is approx. 4″ x 3″ x 2 1/2.
