Wonderful estate fresh Simon Halbig Bisque face with brown sleep eyes, open mouth with four upper teeth. Solid dome ball jointed head , shoulders, elbows, wrist and knees. She has pierced ears though no earrings. The bisque head is perfect witout damage or retorations. Her early Sonenberg style body is in played with condition. She wears an antique human hair wig and an antique tulle dress with antique shoes and socks. One finger missing on left hand (middle finger) & broken pinky on other. Circa 1900 and marked with 6 pointed star with a K on one side and a R on the other. Simon & Halbig on the back of the her head and number 80 at base of the neck. Item was label with name of Julia. Rare Early 1900’s HERTWIG Jointed Bisque Brown Bear On All 4s/sits Germany 3

Bear is wire jointed and can be displayed standing, sitting, or on all fours. Very nicely cast and decorated in high detail, in typical fashion for Hertwig dolls, bears and other figures. Item is unmarked, but these are known Hertwig products. Item measures about 3 inches (7.6 cm) tall when standing. Note a rare polar bear on a separate listing! No chips or cracks. Paint nearly 100% intact. Bottom of right foot shows a slight hollow as manufactured. For your consideration, I have a rare swivel neck with cobalt blue enamel sleep eyes in original set. Her only flaw is the chip in the top of her left leg. Early peg jointed arms and legs. There are two kinds of antique roses at her neck. The Antique cotton tulle bobble tambour. Lace has a touch of blush to it. The under dress is also rare lame silk and she has silk covered buttons. Her hat has a feather that of sets the color in her skirt. The silk ribbon in her hat is also very old. The hat is made out of tiny point de spirit lace and lavender silk ribbon with pink silk ribbon on the edge. She will bring joy to you every time you look at her. She was originally made from 1880 to 1899 in France or Germany. Thank you for looking. Rare Antique German Bisque Doll by Kammer Reinhardt, Early 1900s

Rare Antique German Bisque Doll by Kammer Reinhardt, Early 1900s. Rare Kammer Reinhardt German Doll dated late 19th to early 20th Century without a mold number. Size 43 stamped at the base of the neck as well as K STAR R and Simon Halbig. Doll height is approximately 41cm. Dolls Weight is 526 gr. Beautiful Blue eyes with closing lids and pierced ears. Head is still in good period condition with no obvious cracks or chips. Body is however marked with scuff marks and lights cracks though nothing is broken. This doll is part of a collection that once belonged to a French Nun in the early 20th Century who looked after children in France after the war. Upon her passing these dolls were found in her attic and passed on to her nephew who looked after them and displayed them in a cabinet away from Dust and Sunlight for many years. Whether those dolls were acquired by the nun at the time or brought over by the children she looked after and then left behind is unknown but it is entirely possible they were once played with.
