Antique C1880 Blue scent Perfume bottle Grand Tour Rare Painted Scene Christmas
Posted by admin On December 19, 2024
Perfect Christmas present or gift for a serious collector. Lovely antique French blue glass scent bottle with ormolu decoration, adorned with painted plaque. I believe would have been bought as a Grand Tour souvenir. Stunning quality item in excellent condition. 10.7 cm tall. IN VERY NICE CONDITION DESPITE ITS 142YEARS OF AGE & USE SHOWING very MINOR WEAR, BOTH The bottle and stopper ARE IN PERFECT UNDAMAGED CONDITION. PERFECT FOR THE SERIOUS COLLECTOR. This would make a stunning present gift. THERE ARE SOME very LIGHT SCRATCHES TO THE GLASS BUT NO CRACKS or chips. THE “FLIP TOP” MECHANISM IS IN FULL WORKING ORDER AS IS THE PERFECT RARE GLASS STOPPER. The polished Pontil mark at the base is a great way to tell it’s early age. I have approximately 300 antique perfume bottles which I have taken many years collecting. (see a few in picture 11). I have also included a picture of part of my 750 strong collection of Sampson Mordan in picture 12. Obviously these are not included in the price of this item, just for reference. If you want spotless then the high street is for you, but if you want a great antique that will appreciate in price with age then this is for you. You don’t get this by messing people about. Iam a trusted honest reliable EBAYer. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Please look at all my other great items I have for sale.
Large Georgian Antique early 19th agate cabochon gilt bracelet rare panel
Posted by admin On December 19, 2024
A rare early 19th century Georgian bracelet in gilt metal. It is composed of open work panels set with agate cabochons. Beautiful agate stones in hues of red pink brown white. Length is 17.5cm each. About 44mm wide at the widest point. A substantial piece of jewellery weighing about 50g. One stone has a superficial fracture (see photos- hence price), but remains sturdy. Otherwise, very good condition. One of a pair. Given the value, I’m happy to take a return if you change your mind.

Rare Antique Set 12 Early Minton M & Co Fuchsia Dinner Plates 9.25 Gold Trim. Pre-owned antique plate set with signs of age. No chips or cracks but a few have crazing, one has shallow lines on the back that could be crazing or the start of a crack but it’s only on the back of the one plate and not deep. Some have discoloring on the back. I tried to include close up photos for any that had significant crazing.
