A Rare Pewter-Mounted Hand-Blown Glass’Double Gourd’ Seltzogene/Soda Siphon, Retailed by Boots Cash Chemists, Late 19th/Early 20th Century. The pewter mechanism stamped’Boots/Cash Chemists’, the’gourds’ entirely clad in protective wire mesh, on heavy circular foot, the interior with original glass siphon tube and white guiding sleeve. Weight: 7.00 kg. Condition: Overall, in excellent used condition and fully intact, with no visible damages. Tarnish and minor marks and wear to the pewter. The wire mesh now with a light coating of rust. I haven’t attempted to clean this, but it does scratch off with my nail, so could possibly be removed through thorough cleaning using the appropriate substances.
