Wedgwood Jasperware Pedestal Vase Stand Early 19thC Rare Antique 21cm
Elevate your collection with this rare early 19th century Wedgwood Jasperware pedestal vase stand – an elegant and authentic example of fine English neoclassical pottery. Crafted in Wedgwood’s iconic Jasperware, this refined pedestal is designed to showcase a special vase or treasured object, while also serving as a striking decorative accent in its own right. Dating from the early 1800s, this antique Wedgwood stand embodies the timeless style and craftsmanship that made the Wedgwood name synonymous with luxury ceramics. The Jasperware body, with its beautifully matte surface and classic profile, reflects the refined taste of the Regency and early Victorian periods. This is an original period piece, not a modern reproduction, and offers the opportunity to own a genuine slice of British ceramic history. Jasperware is one of Wedgwood’s most celebrated inventions – a fine, unglazed stoneware prized for its smooth texture, exceptional durability, and elegant appearance. Collectors seek out early Jasperware pieces for their quality, subtle colouration, and the artistry of their forms. This pedestal vase stand is a superb example, ideal for those who appreciate antique ceramics, British pottery, and the enduring appeal of neoclassical design. Measuring approximately 21 cm in height, the stand has a well-proportioned silhouette perfectly suited to supporting a centrepiece vase, urn, or decorative bowl. Its height and form give a sense of presence and importance to any piece displayed upon it, making it particularly effective as a focal point on a mantelpiece, console table, sideboard, or within a cabinet of fine ceramics. The condition is excellent for its age, with great overall appearance throughout. Surfaces are clean and well-preserved, with no major damage visible. As with all genuine early 19th century pottery, minor signs of age and use should be expected, but nothing that detracts from its display quality. It presents beautifully and is ready to be enjoyed immediately in a refined interior or added to a serious Wedgwood collection. This antique Wedgwood Jasperware pedestal vase stand is especially appealing for. Wedgwood collectors seeking a rarer early 19th century accessory piece. Interior designers looking for a luxurious stand to elevate a feature vase or urn. Enthusiasts of fine English pottery and neoclassical decorative arts. Collectors of Jasperware who value authentic period examples. Whether used to display a single statement vase, a pair of classical urns, or as a sculptural element within a curated display of antiques, this stand adds height, balance, and a sense of quiet luxury. In the listing photographs, it is shown with vases to illustrate how beautifully it functions as a base; these vases are for demonstration only and are not included in the sale. Type: Pedestal vase stand / display stand. Period: Early 19th century. Condition: Great condition throughout for age; displays beautifully. Fine antique Wedgwood Jasperware stands of this period are increasingly hard to find, particularly in such attractive condition. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a luxurious and historically significant piece that will enhance both traditional and contemporary interiors. It is equally suited to serious collectors and to those looking for a distinctive, high-quality decorative accent with genuine heritage. Please review the photographs as they form an important part of the description, and do not hesitate to message with any questions or requests for additional images. This exceptional early 19th century Wedgwood Jasperware pedestal vase stand will be packed with the utmost care to ensure it reaches you safely, ready to take pride of place in your home or collection.

This shop is to help me increase my knowledge and help homeless pre-loved vintage items find a new forever home and survive a bit longer to be appreciated by future generations. I’m not here to rip people off or make a quick buck so if you have a problem I will always try to sort it out quickly and fairly so we can part as friends and you’ll feel safe to come back. Please read the description and look at the photos as I try to document all features and any damage. Terms like “excellent” or “very good condition” are subjective but I mean for their age and consistent with normal use. For example, it is unreasonable to expect a 1930s household item to be immaculate but if it is I will describe it as immaculate or mint. In the unlikely event that on receipt of your item, you are not completely satisfied please do not hesitate to contact me so that we can resolve the problem. My promise to you. I list items as accurately as I can; if I can see an item isn’t perfect I’ll say so in the description. Please bear in mind, my items are vintage and so will show some wear typical of their age. For example having movement scratches or scuffs underneath. I research every piece using books, catalogues and the internet but I’m not an expert on everything by any means and collecting vintage glass is my hobby not my profession, so if you think I have misdescribed something please let me know so I can learn from you and change the listing. All fragile items will be sent in sturdy boxes wrapped in bubble wrap paddled out with void paper. I know how disappointing it is when an item arrives broken. Please get in touch if you have a problem and take some photos of the damage. More expensive items are sent tracked and insured for my protection and yours. This is a non smoking home – but not pet free. Random dogs may find their way into photos and these are not included in the sale!
