RARE Antique 18th C Forged Iron Early FIREPLACE Tripod Small SPIDER SKILLET — found in Berks County, Pennsylvania — — It stands approximately 4.75″ tall from floor to top of rim and measures approximately 15 2/16″ in diameter across the outer edge of the top rim to the end of the handle. It has a mark on the back of the handle – a line with 3 small dots- not sure what this means but it is different than most we have had -with the mark and the smaller size. You can see the hand hammered marks on this one which makes it really neat. Both the exterior and interior are nice and clean with authentic use seen at the hearth , making this a good vessel for actual hearth cooking use — — This will make a nice addition to your early hearth cooking cookware collection.
