RARE ANTIQUE BILIKEN SILVER PLATE WINE BOTTLE COASTER 1910S GOOD LUCK CHARM DOLL. The Billiken is a charming, little chap that brings good luck to his friends! The Billiken is an early 20th century mascot invented by artist Florence Pritz intended to bring luck, happiness, and well wishes to all who cross the fellow’s path. The Billiken is a small, squat character that sits with closed eyes and large grin. There were little tokens and dolls of the Billiken everywhere and he even graced the side of household items like a wine bottle coaster. These phrases could also refer to wine! The wine coaster has a wooden bottom, was cast by the Queen City Silver Co, can double as nifty trinket dish, and is in great, preowned condition. A lovely silver caddy spoon by Richard Morton Sheffield 1786. This would be one of the earliest silver caddy spoons to be made particularly from a Sheffield silversmith. The spoon is in good order with a fluted shell shaped bowl and plain handle thumb piece. The spoon appears to have made by die stamping or pressing. There thumb piece handle has been lightly monograms with initials in scrolling script. A rare example illustrating the tooling development for caddy spoons in Sheffield with excellent hallmarks in. Size: 8.3 cms approx. Weight: 9 Grams approx. It will be sent within 2 days after receipt of cleared funds. We are proud to be members of LAPADA and CINOA we are governed by their trading rules. One Single Antique/Vintage Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Vine Demitasse Spoon. EACH OF THESE SPOONS COME FROM A SET. THEY ARE ALL IN GOOD CONDITION. THEY HAVE A NATURAL AGED FINISH AND SOME MIGHT HAVE A FEW TARNISHED SPOTS. THEY HAVE NOT BEEN CLEANED EXCEPT FOR THE ONE PICTURED IN THE FINAL TWO PHOTOGRAPHS, FOR EXAMPLE PURPOSES. Antique Engraved 900 Silver Pocket Ashtray Box 30.6g. No marks but tested as 900 silver. Measures 1″? Long, 1″? Wide and 10mm tall. Vintage, Antique or Pre-owned. Good Condition, Original Condition Unaltered, pocket ashtrays were a common accessory, especially among those who smoked. These ashtrays were designed to be portable and convenient for smokers to carry with them, allowing them to dispose of cigarette ashes and butts in a tidy manner while on the go. This little ashtray was made to fit in your pocket for personal and portable use. Classy and well made, the hinge is smooth and curved to hold a cigarette. The case measures approximately 4.5 inches by 2 inches wide by 1 inch thick. It has a total weight of 80.1 grams. The surface has been tooled with multiple designs as well as a monogram on the top. The straps to hold cigarettes in place remain on the inside. The case opens and closes without trouble snapping closed with latch mechanism. Dings on the top and bottom from use as cigarette case. Hallmarked on the edge with an early 19th century Russian imperial mark comprised of an 84.

These are the very early Griffes Antique pattern knife rests with the ball and claw feet. There are 4 good ones as shown, and one that is without a foot as shown, but still functions as a knife rest. Height 4.2 cms. Length 7.5 cms. Impressed “Christofle” inside a thin rectangular shape with an impressed square with lozenge/diamond shape with a pair of scales and “G”&”C” on either side of the scales. These are a very early marks and can be seen with a loup and watch repair glasses. These test for silver using acid test showing red. So they all add up. This is an incredibly rare Chinese antique. This exquisite, silver gilt, filigree brooch, made from an antique Chinese fingernail guard or protector, which were worn by high status women to protect their fingernails, is in excellent condition. It is beautifully crafted and decorated with gemstones and enamel flowers and petals and is stamped silver on the back. It measures 8.5cm in length and weighs 15.5g.
