Rare Antique c1916 Wedgwood Arthur Powell Signed Hand Painted Jug Pitcher Ewer. Octagonal in shape with 8 characterful stags and does all in different poses set against a backdrop of blue mountains. Above is a garland of green and blue vines. There are no chips and the glazing is very clean and uncrazed. Only flaw is a small hairline crack to the base of the handle as per final photo. 15.25cm high x 16cm spout to handle; 522g. This shop is to help me increase my knowledge and help homeless pre-loved vintage items find a new forever home and survive a bit longer to be appreciated by future generations. I’m not here to rip people off or make a quick buck so if you have a problem I will always try to sort it out quickly and fairly so we can part as friends and you’ll feel safe to come back. I list items as accurately as I can; if I can see an item isn’t perfect I’ll say so in the description. Please bear in mind, my items are vintage and so will show some wear typical of their age. For example having movement scratches or scuffs underneath. I research every piece using books, catalogues and the internet but I’m not an expert on everything by any means and collecting vintage glass is my hobby not my profession, so if you think I have misdescribed something please let me know so I can learn from you and change the listing. All fragile items will be sent in sturdy boxes wrapped in bubble wrap paddled out with void paper. I know how disappointing it is when an item arrives broken. Please get in touch if you have a problem and take some photos of the damage. More expensive items are sent tracked and insured for my protection and yours. This is a non smoking home – but not pet free. Random dogs may find their way into photos and these are not included in the sale!

A very Rare Original Wade figurine of a Panther on a rock by Faust Lang, made in 1939. Fully backstamped underneath wade 1939 and impressed Faust Lang on the back, measurement: 230 mm / 9 inches tall, 153 mm / 6 inches length. This figurine has been professionally repaired on his neck which is not noticeable when on display and has crazing due to age. This figure is never seen anymore and is one of the most sort after faust lang figurines. A wade collectors dream. Thank you for looking. Pleased to offer this RARE ANTIQUE SIGNED QUEZAL ART DECO TIFFANY STEUBEN ERA PULLED FEATHER ART GLASS VASE IN MINT PERFECT CONDITION!!! This vase is fully signed and numbered on the base. The Gold Aurene Iridescence is Stunning and is worthy of any of the finest Steuben or Tiffany examples. Same can be said of the Exquisite Pulled Feather design expertly executed here by Quezal in this Museum worthy example of their finest work. This wonderful cabinet vase measures about Four and a half inches tall and Six inches across. The following history of Quezal I copied from The Met Online website. Two former employees of Louis Comfort Tiffany’s glassworks, Martin Bach and Thomas Johnson, founded the Quezal firm and named it after the brightly feathered Central American quetzal bird. Using the same method of manufacture practiced at the Tiffany factory, the company made artistic ware with pulled and applied decoration of lustrous iridescence. Offering this unique flat pantry box. Measures 9.25″ x 2.5″ thick. This is a sweet piece and first I’ve had pleasure of owning. Displays a nice wear and patina. In good overall condition. The side of the lid has son loss and around nail construction as seen. There’s a small hole/puncture on the side but nothing is loose. Signed on the bottom AS. Has a tag on it with a number I left as found. Perhaps was in a collection or museum. Great piece for your collection. As found from dealer out of Pittsburg. This Beautifully unusual Hand Painted Royal Worcester shaped cabinet plate Decorated with powder blue and gilt border with a bird in a tree and foilage to the centre and Signed J W Sedgley (Walter). The superb rare plate has the first quality blue Royal Worcester backstamp with the date code for 1911 and pattern number W9482. I have taken pictures all around the unusual plate with a good quality digital camera and paid extra for zoom and enlargement so you can see that it displays beautifully and has no chips, cracks or restoration. Rare Antique Dutch Delft 17th/18th C. Faience Signed Apothecary Jar For Senna. Senna is the fruit (pod) or leaf of the plant Senna alexandrina. It is approved in the US as a laxative for short-term treatment of constipation. Senna contains many chemicals called sennosides. Sennosides irritate the lining of the bowel, which causes a laxative effect. A reference sputse I learned the hard way “antique experts” get it wrong sometimes. Examine images closely please!
