Rare Finest Quality Early Signed Herculaneum Blue Willow Pattern Meat Dish Platter. 20½ x 14½ x 1½ h, c. Oval indented edge shape with flat bottom. Three man on bridge standard willow pattern. Distinctly bluish rippled glaze. Shows a signed Herculaneum plate, 9.9 in. 1820 in this standard version and a somewhat earlier Herculaneum two man willow on a 12.6 in. Impressed all caps HERCULANEUM mark. Godden mark #2007, c. Rare fine signed example with very slight natural wear but no damage of any kind. All Items Are Sent Insured. The feet are brass-metal The base measures about 11″ by 3 1/2″ tall. Only condition found is The beak has been professionally repaired sometime in the past.
