POOLE POTTERY Freeform Art Deco Vase Carter Stabler Adams CSA RARE Shape No 966
Rare Art Deco POOLE POTTERY Vase Carter Stabler & Adams CSA Shape No 966 White. This is a decorative piece for a period or contemporary interior. This is a fabulous piece of POOLE STUDIO POTTERY from the ART DECO Period, they are sometimes known as Freeform vases. This comes in the sought after shape 966 from the Carter Stabler and Adams period. I have never seen this colour way before. It is a cream or milky white colour and the turning marks from being on the potters wheel can be seen and felt on the inside of this stunning vase. The base is impressed with POOLE ENGLAND in a rectangular mark and the numbers 966. This is in MINT condition with no chips, cracks or restoration and it stands 10 inches tall. This will look great in a contemporary minimalist interior, or likewise would be striking in an ART DECO or Modernist collection. This will be packed extremely well, it is a lovely timeless piece that will be a great investment. They are all Original and Vintage items. I post worldwide using good quality materials. Leffler worked at Weller beginning in 1920, and he moved to California in 1928, so his work is hard to find. The lamp is 6″ wide at its widest point, and the painted wood base is 5.5″ wide. Condition: the lamp needs to be rewired, but the pottery is in very good condition with no loss or other problems. This will look wonderful when it is rewired and a shade is on it. This item is in the category “Pottery & Glass\Decorative Pottery & Glassware\Vases”. The seller is “niddynoddy5859″ and is located in this country: US. This item can be shipped worldwide.

Up for sale is a really fun CH Brannam dog figure with glass eyes. He was made I believe during the WW1 period & as was common at that time shows an injured dog. He is in good order apart from a tail break repair as shown in the images. These Brannam figures are very hard to find in any condition. This object (as shown in the picture) stands roughly 23cm (9 inches). Condition: Good order apart from a repair to a tail break. Pretty good example and very bright. A large deep bowl featuring a plain exterior and an unusual tripodal feature alongside a foot. The interior is beautifully coloured and decorated around a central bust of a youth amongst foliage. The rim decorated with cartouches of a fish scale motif and possibly calligraphy. This is 17th Century and shows its age so please check the photos carefully. This has been heavily damaged and shows large cracks, repairs and restorations including recolouring and filling in (not the best restorations in my opinion). Also included are chips to the rim and glaze, scratches, crazing and wear, and discolourations. The paint work isn’t crisp, the edges have bled. I also have a second very similar bowl in another listing. This item is in the category “Antiques\Asian/Oriental Antiques\Islamic/Middle Eastern”.
