Art Nouveau WMF Early 1900 Rare Silver Plated Plate Antique Collectable With Woman Female Figure. Very beautiful two-tray dish with female figure by WMF from around 1905, no. 169/2 Good, used condition with normal, age-related signs of wear and tear. Material: Silver-plated tin L/W/H = approx. 5 cm / 35. 0 cm / 21. 7 cm Pictured in the WMF book “Art Nouveau Domestic Metalwork” from 1906 on page 342 – no. A stunning, sort after rare antique French biscuit porcelain hand sculpted figurine. Made by renowned artist Maurice Guiraud – Rivière, during the early part of the last century. The piece is a figurine depicting a young lady In beautiful art nouveau dress, with hand muff. Stamped 1912 to base and signed by artist. This delicate lot has a quality look, with beautiful detailing to finish. Unusual subject, very striking. There are no major issues with this beautiful lot, no big large chips / cracks / nibbles etc. There is however some age related scuffs to base, and a slightly raised area to her dress which has been highlighted, NOT damage. Lovely piece, looks very striking and outstanding quality. Standing piece is approximately 8.5cm x 6cm wide to base by 22cm tall. CLEANING ANTIQUES and VINTAGE items – please note, we do not vigorously over clean antique porcelain and other delicate items. Absolutely pristine condition, which is rare for an art object over a hundred years old. It is a classic central European Art Nouveau design with flowers and thistle leaves. The letter “N” means that it was silverplated over brass. Acquired in an art gallery in Europe, it is a rare find for a Fraget-manufactured object and even rarer to be in perfect condition, without any wear or tarnish. Measurements: 12 ¼ x 5 ¼ inch (32 x 19 cm). Item Weight: 406 grams.
