RARE TINY ANTIQUE EARLY 1800s CHILD’S MUG YELLOW WARE ROCKINGHAM MINT

This is an interesting tiny child’s mug dating to the early 1800s. This form is known as a face mug and would have been. Made as novelty gift item for a child. I’ve seen other small face mugs but they have all been larger than this little fellow. Measuring only 1 ¾ high the mug is molded in the form of a man’s head. The rim is accented with Rockingham glaze. The mug is in its original condition no damage or repairs.

RARE ANTIQUE EARLY 1800s CREAMER with APPLIED WHITE FLOWERS YELLOW WARE MINT

Dating to the early 1800s, this creamer is lovely and visually appealing. The creamer is finely detailed and molded with an applied band of white flowers around the side. The flowers were separately molded from white glazed clay and applied to the yellow ware body before it was fired. This decorative technique is known as sprigging. Measuring 3 to the top of the handle, the creamer survives in its original mint condition. Dating to 200 years old, this creamer does not appear in any of the books on yellow ware. Any advanced collector would be pleased to add this to their yellow ware collection.

EXTREMELY RARE ANTIQUE EARLY 1800s BLUE BLACK &WHITE BAND MUG YELLOW WARE MINT

Here we have an early 1800s stunning yellow ware mug. This mug is attractively decorated. With blue, white and black bands and is molded with a warm yellow clay that nicely contrasts nicely with the glazed bands. This mug is very desirable and finely molded with a nicely formed stepped foot with delicately molded raised bands and an applied strap handle. Measuring 3 ¾” in height by 4″ wide across the rim, this mug survives in its original mint condition with no damage or repairs. This is an extremely rare find that would enhance and be highly prized in any yellow ware or country collection.

VERY RARE ANTIQUE AMERICAN EARLY 1800s MATCHED PAIR OF LIONS YELLOW WARE MINT

Here we have an attractive rare pair of reclining lions not shown in any of the books on collecting yellow ware. This pair of recumbent lions on rectangular bases are nicely molded and have a realistic appeal. One of the lions is mostly clear glazed yellow ware, the other lion has light applications of Rockingham glaze as accents. This is unique form was produced by only a single potter. These measure 6″ in length by 3″ in height the lions are thickly potted on hollow bases. The lions are in excellent condition with only minor wear on the base that don’t detract or take away from these magnificent animals. Any serious collector would be proud to add these to their collection.

MODERN ERCOL RARE CONSOLE TABLE. This is a very good modern Ercol Console table. The table is in excellent virtually showroom condition. The ercol colour code we think is light. The table is made of solid ash with two lined drawers. We date this table from tje late 20th century. The dimensions are as follows. We try to keep deliveries in house and avoid white van man cowboy couriers. We cover all of England and Wales apart from Cornwall and as far north as Glasgow and Edinburgh. In the few places that we don’t deliver, we can recommend a very good courier. In most cases, we deliver as a 2 man team, so assistance is very rarely required. It may also be possible for us to collect from other sellers and deliver at the same time, so keeping your cost down. If work commitments are a problem, we may be able to deliver from 6am if required.
