Measures 10 1/8” x 2 5/8” and has high gloss with very nice recessed stepping to the lettering against the vibrant deep cobalt blue backfield. An exceptional gem of a sign and early hotel memorabilia. RARE EARLY Antique Original Jas Hamilton & Co 1 Gallon Salt Glazed Crock MINT ++

T his listing is for an Antique Original James Hamilton & Company salt glazed stoneware 1 gallon crock. This crock was made around the 1860s and it is in mint condition. It measures roughly 8 tall and 4 3/4 across the top from outside to outside. You can see by the markings that this is an early Company piece, and hopefully you can tell by all the close up pictures that this is an excellent piece of stoneware. Its a perfect size to display most anywhere. You rarely find early salt glazed crocks from this company in such good condition so dont let this one pass you by! Please keep in mind that almost all of my items are used and/or vintage items from estate sales, flea markets, auctions, or picks in the South East part of the US.
