A rare and robust matching service from the prestigious Sheffield makers Walker & Hall. This set is professional “Hotel Quality, ” built using the superior “Warranted Hard & Silver Soldered” method, making it incredibly durable and heavy-gauge. The teapot features a fascinating hand-scribed “W D” mark on the base (positioned by the flag logo) indicating it was issued to the British War Department. This set likely saw service in a Military Officers’ Mess or a Government Department circa 1930. The coffee pot remains in its original factory state without the additional department mark. Teapot is a 2-Pint capacity, marked with date letter’m’ c. Coffee Pot is a 1½-Pint capacity (marked 1½ PTS), matching design and series number (53665A). Both pieces are in excellent vintage condition with a bright high-shine finish. They are watertight, solid, and ready for use or display. Features the classic Walker & Hall pennant flag and Sheffield stamps. A beautiful set of British heritage silver plate with a genuine historical connection.

This special edition trunk known as “The Marshall Improved Airtight & Watertight Chest” was often used by the military. Made in England during the early part of the 20th century in around 1920 to a lovely standard.
And signed document by. The great great grandmother of Queen Elizabeth II. Extremally rare document signed by 20 years old. Military commission issued in April, 1840. ANTIQUE RARE MILITARY BELT BUCKLE WITH LION GILT BRASS BUCKLE – EARLY MILITARY. Very interesting and scarce antique belt buckle – the belt seems to be standard British army belt that was first used in the 19th century, bullion thread onto red leather with compartments to the inside. The buckle itself is frustratingly difficult to pin down to a country or regiment, the metal has been gilt and not machined like the ww2 era buckles which leads me to suspect it’s earlier. Adorned with acorns by belt loops – reminds me of the German buckles but of course no lions although the ottoman lion with German acorns may represent the ww1 alliance? Perhaps an ottoman regiment?
