This is a gorgeous and VERY, VERY RARE. Fenton Glass made, Diamond Optic White Opalescent. That was Made for the Edward P. To be used by them, in making lamp bases. This beautiful Fenton special order, white opalescent bottle has a Fenton Factory-made indent’hole’ on the bottom center of the bottle-and seen in the pics-that was put there purposely, as that is where the glass would have been’popped through’ where a lamp pole would have been inserted. The clear applied handle is what was known as’Nicked Handle’ aka:’Bamboo Handle’. There is NO stopper. Because these were never meant to be used as bottles. As other Fenton cruet/bottles were. Because lamps need no stoppers. The bottle stands at, 5.5 high and is 4. In diameter at the widest area. This bottle was never even used for a lamp. I also have another UNUSED, Fenton, Cameo Opalescent Hobnail bottle, that was made for them as well-where the bottom-side hole was punched through where a cord would have been inserted. RARE Antique Edwardian Set Of Perfumes Two Nearly Unused Made In Grasse. Scents include Jasmine, Lily of the Valley and Violet. It is a beautiful example and a rare form of a Tinware Chocolate Pot. It has a great and rare form and it is in really good condition for its age and use. It has the wonderful side wooden handle and has no spout as is a shared feature for a lot of chocolate pots. It is a flat base and has some very old solder repairs on the top of the rim base – done very nicely and only mentioned for accuracy sake. I have not seen this form before and even in our research for listing this -I have not seen an exactly similar example. It stands approximately 4.5″ tall to the top of the finial and approx 7.25″-7.5″ long with handle included and the base measuring approx 3.75″ X 2 7/8 diameter base-excluding the wooden handle. It is free from holes and has some surface patina that you want to see on your antiques- some minor dentsoxidation and surface wear- some minor wear to wooden handle- the handle is a little loose as the wood may have shrunk over the years.
