1820 Holy Bible printed in New York by The American Bible Society Stereotyped by D & G Bruce. Original leather binding worn, hole in leather on rear cover, split starting to bottom of front cover, spine chipped at top. Bible is solid though and quite attractive! Has some family history info on front and rear blanks. Measures about 7.5″ x 4.75″ and around 2.5 thick. The majority of books I list are 150+ years old. This has a great look to it and has been kept in good vintage condition. There may be some scratching or surface wear from age which is to be expected. This measures roughly 14.5 tall. Offering this antique hard to find pair of child’s leather red shoes. Measures 6.5″ x 4.5″ T. This is a desirable red and black end color pair. They’re in good overall condition. They have a scuff on the side of one shoe consistent with age and wear and slight wrinkles on the toes. Great child size and colors.

Rare Early 6 Panel Rugby Football. Antique 3 Lace Hole Leather Ball. C1900

This original antique 6 panel rugby football which dates from between 1890 and 1920 so would be from the time rugby and football were crossing over into two separate sports. Is a smaller size. Has three lace holes with string laces and is made of brown leather. The bladder is the original seamed type with a tube valve and has been fitted inside the ball inflated but does not hold air. The ball holds it’s shape well for display. This early great looking ball which has lots of age related wear is a very rare piece and would make a great collectible display ball for a rugby football fan. Dimensions: Length: Approx 31 cm with curve. Circumference: Approx 55 cm (21 3/4). Condition: Well used antique condition with lots of scuffs, scrapes, scratches and marks. The original bladder is fitted but it does not hold air but holds shape well for display. A genuine vintage rugby football and not a modern reproduction. Please note that only the ball is included and all other items in the pictures are for scale only. All items will be packaged with care and dispatched quickly using a fully insured service.

1827 Holy Bible stereotyped in Cooperstown, New York by H & E Phinney. Original leather binding a little worn, but good condition compared to most copies that you see. Very attractive for age! Some foxing and spots throughout. Very slight weakening to hinges, but both covers are still well attached. If you’re interested in an 1827 Phinney Bible, this is the condition that you hope to find! 1713 NEW TESTAMENT early JOHN BASKETT rare HOLY BIBLE antique OLD leather GILT

1713 New Testament printed in London by John Baskett. Very rare early printing by John Baskett not mentioned in the Herbert Catalog! The first John Baskett printing was a New Testament in 1712. I’ve seen a copy of that printing bound into a complete Bible before, but this is the first time I’ve seen a standalone 1713 New Testament. Measures about 7.25″ x 4.75″ and a little less than 1 thick. Binding has a bit of a lean to it, spine a little worn with top and bottom chipped, but solid and attractive! This is one of those rare printings that very rarely come up for sale, much less in this good of condition! This is definitely a necessary addition to any Baskett Bible collection!
