Up for sale is an awesome Early Old Antique 1930s 8 spoke exterior Goldsmith Sporting Goods (see stamping on back left panel) VINTAGE thick Brown ALL Leather Football Helmet. Helmet measures to Adult size 7 1/4 model number 60- must see all photos – front thick padded leather with all stitching right and complete interior eight spoke harness with center pad – awesome shape – see several photos ; note – you can also see the Deep Goldsmtih Sporting Goods stamping on the back left leather panel; stitching tight and thick and clean throughout – great overall look! This is a very cool 1930’s adult size 7 1/4 all thick clean and sturdy leather football helmet! As the photos show, the helmet is in very nice overall shape! There are a few gridiron battle scars and add to the cool eight spoke chocolate football harness/thickly padded (see all photos for condition)! The leather is soft and supple and still holding up very strong for being close to 85 plus year old – wow!!! It has a great shine and awesome look! The intimidating brown patina is 100% worn original. The leather interior of the helmet is in super good condition and as you can see has the thick leather interior and exterior 8 spoke harness which denotes the higher quality and craftsmanship includes the foam head display stand as well!! Rare Antique Leather Rawlings Baseball or Handball Gloves from the early 1900’s size 9L I have gotten several messages with conflicting information. I appreciate the information. Cant find where Rawlings ever made handball gloves. I did find a picture from 1924 of a handball glove like these but made by another maker. They are in Excellent Condition. Obtained at an upscale Estate sale. Advised they were handed down from a gentleman who played baseball in the 1920’s. Leather is still in great shape and flexible. Unable to locate exact year of the gloves or any other. Did locate photo’ s of early baseball players wearing two gloves in the field.
