Antique Beautiful Closed Mouth Very Rare Early Simon Halbig 719 Doll 12. In original Traditional German outfit. Stunning little doll with swivel head and shoulder plate and fine bisque arms Her head is marked S2H 719 Swivel head is a lovely pale bisque with closed mouth and pierced ears, she has little brown sleep eyes Her face is just beautiful! Her arms and hands are fine pale bisque with lovely blush detail to the hands it might be missing tiny tip on index finger not really noticeable, or maybe what just from factory. Her body is cloth in very good conditions no visible leaks or repairs. She lost her wig away, She is dressed with German outfit with Original very fragile blouse (ripped one side) lace up corset metal hooks (missing 1) Her skirt is plaid cord is partially out of the waist pocket, underwear pants, and underdress slip in good antique condition, socks are stained I didn’t take those out because are tight to the feet. Currently the head piece is just pin attached, it will need some detailed cleaning on porcelain for greater looking. Condition: No chips or cracks to her head. 1 tiny paint chip her left eye. Tiny nibble to bottom of index finger but possibly done in production. Eyes working fine sometimes will not close when head is straight but if you swivel back will work just fine. This is large larger than life composition cat head Halloween candy container Beautifully and very skillfully made. Measures about 5 1/2 inches tall, 4 1/2 inches wide and 4 1/2 inches deep. I believe it is French but it may be German. The paint and surface is outstanding. Eyes are very realistic along with its very thin wire whiskers. Molded hollow with fur like surface. Rare turned head Kestner early letter series antique doll

Angie: This is a rare early 18 inch Kestner with the mark J or F on the perfect head, a turned head. The sleep eyes work beautifully and are brown, pink lids are so sweet; the shoulder head is in perfect shape with no chips cracks or rubs on the doll. She is named Angie on the tag is from 1880’s but most likely made in the late 1890’s with a lovely original good condition kid leather body that has working joints with no leaks, the doll is fully dressed in four layers of fine lace, batiste, and silk. She has on hand made leather kid boots and possesses tiny buttons 4 of them. The sweet doll has silk stockings and a lace bonnet which is enchanting. The underdress is all hand made as is the silk afternoon walking coat dress. A perfect doll for the discriminating doll collector. I love the style of the dress too, with the piping running down each side and all the lace, such perfection. We are pleased to be able to offer this. Stunning Extremely Rare Early Victorian Silver & faux TORTOISESHELL Carved Dogs Head Mounted Ladies Purse. I would estimate this rare purse dates to circa 1850 making it nearly 170 years old, this beautiful Victorian purse is crafted in faux Tortoiseshell with curved edges giving it a wonderful tactile feel, the colours are beautiful with rich deep oranges and browns creating such a superb effect, to the front it is mounted with the most beautiful yet unique very special carved dog head image, this is so very rare and has the most amazing detail, from the dogs very life like unusual eyes, his detailed nose and his very beautiful long hair, I would say this must be a female dog as the dog has a lovely bow to the top of her head, I have never seen a carved dog head like this ever, its so very rare, on the other side is a solid silver cartouche, the hinges work well and I believe are a white metal, the quality of the craftsmanship is superb, this would have once belonged to a wealthy Victorian Lady and been used on many an occasion, many years ago when things were so very different, this would have been a talking point as it is so unusual and rare, my photos really don’t do it justice, you will not find another like this on the market. Circa 1850, though maybe earlier. 7 cm by 5 cm. The condition for its age is lovely, just one small pin missing, there is no clasp for closing, though it appear there never was a clasp, there is just a little spring back when closed, that being said it doesnt detractat all from its rare beauty, just mentioned for accuracy. Early 7 Milliner’s Model Doll With Rare Head In All Original Presentation

” price a BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE 7″ MILLINER’S MODEL DOLL WITH RARE HEAD! A SUPERB EXAMPLE of her type, this wonderful early doll with a PAPER MACHE head in a hard to find mold is a lovely model with distinctive appeal; you will love her ORIGINAL PRESENTATION! A suitable diminutive size for a larger scale DOLLHOUSE or ROOM BOX vignette, we can envision creating an 1840’s parlor or kitchen scene around this fabulous early doll, as she wears a two piece ensemble consisting of a tunic style blouse of a eggplant purple silk moire fabric with black velvet collar, and contrasting long black silk skirt, both appearing original to her! Please note that the purple sheen on the fabric is more aged in front where the material was most likely exposed to light than the back of her top which is a little brighter in color. The doll herself has a beautiful early hand painted PAPER MACHE face and shoulder plate with black sculpted hair, and painted features including greenish-blue eyes, dramatic black arched eyebrows, subtly blushed cheeks and dainty red lips. There is age related wear to the paint on her hair and areas on her face including her nose, but the paint is original to her and did not want to compromise her charming originality by having her features modified in any way! Her MILLINERS MODEL type body consists of a leather torso with beautifully sculpted WOODEN arms and hands with delicately carved fingers, and carved wooden lower limbs with red painted tops and purple boots. Please note that there is a professional touch-up to the painting on her boots and reinforcement to the leather on her body and have shown a picture of her legs depicting an example of the professional work that was done. In our opinion, the minor restoration work done to her and age related paint wear do not detract from her overall CHARMING PRESENTATION, considering the fact she is about 175 years old! Early Rare Crow Indian Pipe Tomahawk Forged Spontoon Head Gun Barrel Bowl 1780

The pipe tomahawk is in excellent condition with no repairs or damage. Spontoon style head patterned after the pike heads of the Spanish Conquistadors and explorers. Nice head forged from the barrel of a gun. Octagonal barrel and rifling inside. Looking closely, you will see the seam where the hardened bit was forged in to the shoulder of the tomahawk, commonly called a lap weld or lap seam. A good sign of authenticity and age. Walnut wood haft is original to the head. The brass tacks are original old square shank tacks. All along the haft are many ceremonial file branding marks made by placing a file or rasp in the fire until it was bright red and then burning the file into the haft. This was done for aesthetic “looks” and ceremonial purposes. There is a drilled hole for attaching drops or beads. The head is ever so slightly loose, the result of the wood drying and shrinking over the course of 170 years. A hide or leather gasket is seen between the eye and head. VERY NICE patina all over, really shows its age! The unusual style head is very desirable. Conservatively dated to 1780 but may be earlier. The haft of the tomahawk is measuring 21.5″ long and the head is measuring about 8.5″ long. Please ask any questions you may have. Thank you so much for looking! Rare Early Antique Fh Ayres Turned Head Extra Carved Rocking Horse Circa 1880

Sadly having to part with my beloved rocking-horse. Over twenty years with me. Extensive and painstaking restoration has revealed what is left of the original paintwork, with wonderful patination to the neck where years of childrens hands have rubbed. Some original leatherwork remains, but most is antiqued replacement, very sympathetically done. Most of one ear is missing, but was done such a long time ago I decided to leave it alone rather than have it cut about. Made by FH Ayres, the most sought after maker, and is without doubt one of the very first swing stand horses ever made. The horse has a lovely turn to the head. 40 inches to highest part of neck. Would be classed as a medium sized horse. Stand has replacement posts and cross-braces, the rest is original, along with the beautifully carved runner ends. Horse would have had saddle pommels, but I did not bother to replace these. Please note this is an ANTIQUE and piece of objet d’art, NOT a TOY. The photos don’t do it justice at all.
