Antique 1800’s Early American Cast Iron Horse Head Hitching Post. This rare style is 14 tall and weighs 25 pounds. Its a 3 diameter post. We see no foundry marks. Cast in massively thick iron (over 25 pounds) this 19th century horse head is in very good condition for sitting outside for well over 100 years. There are no cracks or repairs, but there is some rust and pitting, which you can see in the photos. Please see the photos as they are part of the description and to assess condition. GORGEOUS Rare Early Antique Bahr Proschild Belton Type Dome Head Doll Mold 309. This is an early 18 tall B&P doll made in Germany. She is incised “309 9″ on the rear of her shoulderplate. She has no damage to her very pale bisque shoulderhead or her delicately sculpted hands and fingers. Her eyes are absolutely stunning- they remind me of the paperweight eyes seen on French dolls of the same time period. Her body is leaking saw dust and is fragile so her new owner may want to make repairs. Her lovely antique dress fits her perfectly and covers much newer undergarments. The mohair wig is vintage as is the vevet hat- she is truly an outstanding beautiful antique doll! This is one of my most precious little cabinet sized dolls. She stands about 11 1/2 inches tall marked on the back of her head 277. She is a rare early Bahr Proschild doll made in Germany. Her chocolate brown bisque socket head is free from chips, cracks or hairlines… She does have some wig pulls, please see photo. Composition body in nice condition with expected age related wear, strung well and holds a pose. She has a replacement dark aubergine color curly mohair wig which is so sassy cute on her along with 2 antique pins pulling back her thick mane of curls. She has an innocent doe-eyed look with her large stationary spiral amber glass eyes. Original painted coral lip color, pretty little porcelain teeth and pierced ears with vintage faux pearl earrings. Dressed in a vintage lavender and lace silk blend dress w/ purple bow, original chemise, antique stockings and shoes giving her a sweet coordinated look. Clothing has age soiling. Antique Beautiful Closed Mouth Very Rare Early Simon Halbig 719 Doll 12. In original Traditional German outfit. Stunning little doll with swivel head and shoulder plate and fine bisque arms Her head is marked S2H 719 Swivel head is a lovely pale bisque with closed mouth and pierced ears, she has little brown sleep eyes Her face is just beautiful! Her arms and hands are fine pale bisque with lovely blush detail to the hands it might be missing tiny tip on index finger not really noticeable, or maybe what just from factory. Her body is cloth in very good conditions no visible leaks or repairs. She lost her wig away, She is dressed with German outfit with Original very fragile blouse (ripped one side) lace up corset metal hooks (missing 1) Her skirt is plaid cord is partially out of the waist pocket, underwear pants, and underdress slip in good antique condition, socks are stained I didn’t take those out because are tight to the feet. Currently the head piece is just pin attached, it will need some detailed cleaning on porcelain for greater looking. Condition: No chips or cracks to her head. 1 tiny paint chip her left eye. Tiny nibble to bottom of index finger but possibly done in production. Eyes working fine sometimes will not close when head is straight but if you swivel back will work just fine.
