Early Worcester porcelain teapot Dr Wall period, c 1765-80. Feather-moulded and painted in underglaze blue with with floral sprigs and insects: the Feather Mould Floral Pattern. Workman’s mark to the base. Condition: There was impurities in the paste when this was been made, which is not uncommon for pieces of this period. This resulted brownish grit marks throughout the pieces. The end of the spout seems to have gotten too hot in the firing process and has ever so slightly left a mark – see images. There is some other firing faults to the lids rim and the lids underside, small nibble to lid – see images. Spout to handle: 18.5cm. RARE Early Antique THOMAS POOLE STAFFORDSHIRE POTTERY Floral Pattern CHAMBER POT

Old Antique Chamber Pot. Presented for your consideration is this antique chamber pot made by Thomas Poole Staffordshire Potteries. The pot has a ornate design painted in blue around the top and bottom edges and the sides of the chamber pot have a intricately detailed pink, green and dark blue coloration. The floral design sits against a white background. Around the top edge are small dark navy flowers with green leaves. The side of the chamber pot has a large handle which is sturdy and secure. Inside bottom has a floral pattern which matched the exterior. The bottom of the pot bares a blue crown hallmark along with “1889” written in red underneath the crown. This hallmark represents Thomas Poole Staffordshire Potteries. This business was started in 1854 and was bought by Gladstone China in 1952 before permanently closing in 1960. This is an early Poole piece and is guaranteed to be antique and original. This chamber pot would make a great addition to any Staffordshire collection! Typical wear from age. No cracks or chips. Overall in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT condition for its age. Please refer to the photos for the best details. Antique Rare Early 19th C. Ovoid Stoneware Jug Stunning Blue Floral Slip C 1820s

Rare and very beautiful ovoid form 2 gallon salt glazed jug with a stunning floral slip decoration that was hand-painted. In near perfect condition, with no cracks, hairlines, and only one very tiny thin chip on the rim and another on the underside edge (see pics). Stunning and very hard to find; the floral slip in blue is beautiful. The hand-painted method of slip application and the ovoid form, with no signature, and the wonderful early deep and dark patina all add up to this being made around and in the 1820s. Please also note what are brown spots under the glaze are just that, and are known as flashings, and came from other pots stacked in the kiln above it because of flashing during the firing process, either from pots stacked above this one or from the top of the kiln itself. These are amazing and add to the charm and character of the jug. Could this be a Southern piece? Hard to tell definitively, but a wonderful jug. 14.5 inches tall. About 10.5 inches in diameter. Opening on top is about 1 1/8 inches diameter. Weight is about 8 pounds not counting packing materials. It’s heavy and large so I won’t be too far off. The item “Antique Rare Early 19th C. This is a nice RARE VERY EARLY JULIUS NORTON BENNINGTON VT COBALT BLUE FLORAL STONEWARE CROCK/CHURN. THE FLORAL FACE IS BEAUTIFUL WITH NO LOSS. It is in USED UTILITARIAN condition. It is obviously missing an ear, has glaze loss, cracks and a chip at the base. That is why it’s priced low. From the from the front it looks ok. It measures 11″h x 7.5″w at rim and 8.5w base. A great gift for any beginning collector of Norton Pottery, Bennington Pottery, Cobalt, Crocks, etc.. You just don’t see the Julius Norton Churns much. Other Bennington VT Nortons (and they’re many), Yes. Usually when they got to this state they were smashed on a rock. It’s kinda amazing this one’s still around.
