Very Rare Early Heals Antique Oak Bedside Cabinet. A superb quality early antique oak bedside, an Ambrose Heal design that dates to 1900 by Heals of London, a special order for a country house bedroom. We have a few other matching pieces. Beautifully made, very high quality and featuring chequer inlays in holly and box woods. In excellent condition and a lovely colour. This rare model of a Heals antique oak bedside stands on gun barrel legs with a connecting H stretcher, to the top is a gallery and the single door has a superb oak wooden turn lock handle. One of the matching pieces has the Heals makers stamp. A dressing chest and clothes rail are available. Height: 79cm (31.35″) Width: 44cm (17.46″) Depth: 37cm (14.68).
A Rare Early Georgian Antique Pine Astral Glazed Barrel Back 2 Piece Cabinet. This cabinet is in good condition. We have professionally stripped and restored it and then waxed it in a lovely antique brown bri wax giving it a stunning patina. The cabinet would look well in an old or modern property in the corner of any downstairs room for any type of storage purpose. It would look particularly well in a living room doubled up as a drinks cabinet. The cabinet stands on a square plinth supporting the main section. There are two large doors to the bottom the doors have a lovely georgian moulding round the panel. There is a key that locks the doors. There is a shelf behind the doors for storage. The top sits neatly upon the base havinf two astral glazed doors. There is a brass closing fixture that locks it. Behind the door there are two shelves that are beautifully scrolled. The top has a georgian castle type scrolled cornice. The height is 197cm, the width is 45cm and the depth is 120cm. It is simple’we deliver everything personally in England/Wales. This Beautifully unusual Hand Painted Royal Worcester shaped cabinet plate Decorated with powder blue and gilt border with a bird in a tree and foilage to the centre and Signed J W Sedgley (Walter). The superb rare plate has the first quality blue Royal Worcester backstamp with the date code for 1911 and pattern number W9482. I have taken pictures all around the unusual plate with a good quality digital camera and paid extra for zoom and enlargement so you can see that it displays beautifully and has no chips, cracks or restoration.
