The people could be two farmers or a couple. Both have hats on, it appears. The whole scene is then circled by a floral and foliage display. All this on one small bowl – a true work of art to be treasured.

Welcome to Antiques & Moore! THIS LISTING IS FOR A RARE ANTIQUE COPELAND SPODE’S “CAMILLA” BLUE PORCELAIN SOUP TUREEN WITH MATCHING 17 UNDERPLATE/TRAY, c. The soup tureen has embossed handles and the matching tray has matching embossed self-handles which are found on the earlier pieces. Marked “Spode’s “Camilla” Copeland, England”. This back stamp was used from 1891 to the early 1900’s. Tray also has incised Copeland “crown” stamp. Early pieces with this mark are considered rare and more desirable than those of newer production. Each piece of this lovely set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Tureen measures 13 1/4″ wide (including handles), 10 1/2″ wide (without handles), 8 3/4″ wide, 9 1/2″ high (including lid) and 6 high (to top of tureen without including lid). Tray (underplate) measures 16 1/2″ long, 12 1/2″ wide and 2 high. The “Camilla” pattern was originally issued in the mid-19th Century and has continued to remain popular and in production to this day. Certainly, the 19th Century pieces are the most desired and are hard to find today still in mint condition. Rare Antique Dresden 10 Plate-blue (Early 1900’s). Hand Painted flowers on blue background and courting couple with raised gold. I have not found any other plates with this darker color blue in research for information on this plate. There is a tiny spot of missing paint on the front part of the plate and there are no other faults noted. Please view all pictures for details. This was packed in a box with other similar dishes for years.

D E S C R I P T I O N. RARE ANTIQUE EARLY DUTCH DELFT HAND PAINTED BLUE WHITE PORCELAIN LANDSCAPE BOWL. A vintage 18th century. Blue and white delft porcelain. Delft bowl, the outer body hand painted with a scene of pagoda temple and European house, garden and landscape, with lake boat to the foreground, the rear of the bowl with an island within the lake, above which flying birds, the interior rim with flower and arching pattern. The over-all condition of this vintage item is in excellent condition, Lite natural wear, a little chip and cracks on the interior – otherwise in fine form. Please see a large photos. Delft, first produced in the Dutch city of Delft, was created in response to Chinese porcelains. These earthenwares were glazed with tin, which produced a white surface on which artists could paint beautiful scenes and designs. 4 3/4 inches high with a diameter of 5 inches at the widest.
