RARE Early RS Prussia, Chop plate, Cobalt blue, Ribbon out line, Marple refer
I have provided several comparison pictures between this plate and a documented RSP. Mold form is shown on page 53, plate 200 – 204 see the. Decoration style in blue page 47 / 59, plate 173 / 230. Ribbon decoration page 62, plate 246 many other examples in this book. RARE Early RS Prussia serving plate. 2 Sand pipers standing on water lilies in underglaze cobalt blue with an over glaze ribbon out line colored in gold. Rare, rare, rare decoration & subject! Chop plate for serving, has a dished out bottom. In the comparison photo of the back sides, you see different sized strength rings. Because the chop plate on the right is to hold a pile of meat weighing more than the cake plate on the left would be asked to carry, hence the larger strength ring on the bottom of this plate. Cobalt blue under glaze with outline ribbon decoration in Gold on top. Marple reference, Formative years. No cracks or repairs. 1 edge chip see picture. 10 1/2 inches wide. Rare Royal Copenhagen early blue fluted 1/7056 Queen Louise Archive cup antique
A very rare early Royal Copenhagen porcelain blue fluted cup and saucer 1/7056. Cup 1/7056 : 6.8cm high and 9.5cm wide, 1st quality, excellent condition. Saucer 1/7056: 14.5cm diameter and 2.8cm high, 1st quality, excellent condition. Both pieces are 1st quality, excellent condition with no signs of damage and restoration. According to the stamp and manufacturing technique (wooden form was used), the set was produced in ca. This set is particularly interesting because the pattern is extremely rare and did not go into large-scale manufacturing. One can immediately recognize blue fluted elements, however, the decoration is more delicate, rich, and very unusual. The code 1/7056 indicates that it is a blue fluted pattern. There is no single mention of 1/7056 Royal Copenhagen cup on the internet. Similar pieces are referred to as Royal Copenhagen Blue fluted Queen Louise and Archive Blue Fluted. It is a very interesting piece to add to a most exquisite Royal Copenhagen porcelain collection. I highly recommend you doing own research and purchasing this cup! Rare Early Japanese Satsuma Blue Morriage Crane Jar Vase. Very fine piece of antique Satsuma in very rare form. Beautiful blue color morriage body with a crane on either side. White feathers of cranes are done in morriage while the rest is hand painted. Body of piece is in amazing condition. Small chips to underside of foot rim. Unfortunately jar is missing lid.
