Rare early 20th century French tin metal soldier’s family’s donation box. Dimensions: H 20″ x W 16″ x D 4 Weight: 4kg Date: Circa 1915. A one-off example in the form of an early 20. Century hand made tin metal charity box, with hand crafted cockerel positioned centrally. Hand painted French colours and original lock still in place. This charity box would have been used to collect donations for soldier’s families left behind as the soldiers in their family went to war. Structurally solid and stable. Naturally aged surface wear. Damage to the ankles of the bird form. The lock opens but without key. All items are described and photographed as accurately as possible. Change-of-mind cancellations are not accepted. Some age related wear nice banding to sides and stud decoration all over some cleaning may enhance item personally I love the aged look. Size: 26 cm tall 11 cm wide 9 cm depth. Could be oak or possibly a fruit wood.

This is a rare brass paperweight of Early 20th century Atlantic power cable by Henley London. As seen from the pictures shows the three conductors and nicely is turned to a paperweight. I have cleaned the brass bottom of it as it was really dirty. I believe Henley of London started the power cable business in late 19th century and was a well known maker. Is quite a interesting engineering piece. Please look at the pictures for condition and details. Any questions please ask.
