RARE Early Antique 12 Jointed Teddy Bear Hump Back Gold Mohair Growler Box

This all-original antique 12 high teddy bear has arms, legs and a head that move. The bear has gold mohair and straw stuffing. It is from 1910 or earlier. The eyes are amber glass with black pupils; black yarn defines the nose, mouth and paws. There is a hump on the upper back of the neck which indicates it was made 1910 or earlier, and a growler box which no longer works. The paw pads are made of a pinkish felt. The bear still moves perfectly and can hold poses. The fur is thin in a few spots. The right paw is damaged: the pink pad is worn through so the straw shows and the black yarn is frayed in spots.
