A beautiful antique porcelain teapot, dating to the Regency or early Victorian period c. Notable chip to the lower rim of the spout (gilding lost, porcelain nibbled) – clearly photographed. Apart from this, the teapot is good for its age: no cracks, crazing or restoration; body, lid, handle and finial are all intact; gilding remains bright and crisp across most of the piece. A striking decorative example, priced accordingly for the spout damage. Age related crazing as pictured.

Rare Antique Early Country Large Yellowware Stained Batter Bowl with Spout 14.5

Offering this rare antique yellowware batter bowl. Measures 14.5″(16.5 to spout) x 6.25″ T. This piece has a worn stained surface adding to its character and look along with an ornate pattern. Has a few blemishes with 2 tight faint lines on one side and another more prominent tight line with a small chip along the edge. No chips on the spout or other major damage. Expect a hard to find piece with a few flea bite abrasions along the base and a wonderful addition to your homes decor.
Rare Early Staffordshire Figure Castle Spill Vase (c. 1825) Restored

A rare and very unusual early pearlware figure depicting a castle with many turrets fashioned as a spill vase. The castle is decorated in the round, the same on each side. It is canary yellow with brown windows, brown doors, and red brick steps. The brick texture of the castle walls is very nicely modelled. Each turret is topped with square bricks. The number’60’ is painted on the bottom of the base. An old label affixed to the underside says:’Example of this castle, impressed mark’Dixon Austin’ at Bowes Museum. The figure presents well but most of the squares atop the turrets have been restored. There are some nibbles to both the original and replaced squares. Chips to the red brick steps have been overpainted to conceal the loss, and some of the enamel windows have been retouched. Therefore, this very fragile castle is offered as found with repair and restoration – a lovely display but not in original condition. Vintage Steamer Trunk Luggage Chest with Rare Original Inner Lift-Out Tray

Item is a brown characterful, distressed antique/vintage steamer trunk with original green and cream striped lift-out tray. Interior also green and cream striped. Features wooden bands and metal reinforcement. The metal clasps are in good working order. The lock opens and shuts easily, but there is no key. Date unknown but probably made early 20th century. Inscribed with the letters “DA”. The trunk belonged to my grandfather, David Auchterlonie who lived in Grangemouth. There are signs of distress and some damage consistent with authentic patina of a trunk of this age but is structurally sound (see photographs). Could be used as a coffee table or end-of-bed blanket store. Approximate dimensions (cm) 51x33x77.

RARE ANTIQUE THOMAS WEBB RUSSELL Fine Diamond Cut Glass Bell DECANTER SIGNED 14

RARE ANTIQUE THOMAS WEBB RUSSELL Bell shaped DECANTER Fine Diamonds Cut Glass SIGNED 14. I have listed two more of these which are in superb clear and clean condition on a separate listing. Of the same set. This rare antique Thomas Webb in the RUSELL PATTERN decanters are a superb quality Stourbridge cut glass item. It measures a grand 14 in height and are made of clear diamond cut glass with a fine diamond band near the top, all being intricately cut by hand, with a star cut base. This is a real masterpiece of early 20th century Stourbridge, England glass. The stopper has a bulbous faceted stem which matches the bulbous faceted lower part of the neck of the decanter. The top of the stopper is also matching with diamond and fine diamond cutting. Originating from Stourbridge England in the 1920s, these early 20th century decanters are handmade and signed by WEBB, ENGLAND. The acid etching is incredibly hard to find but on all the pieces I have listed they are present. In the photos I was able to photograph the bb of Webb in one photo and a partial England in the other. The stopper on the decanter has matched numbers with the inside neck of the decanter and the outer peg end of stopper. The elegant round bell shape and intricate diamond pattern make them a unique and luxurious addition to any collection, perfect for serving water or wine in a sophisticated and stylish manner. Please see my other listings of Webb England Russell for many sets of 12 wine, whisky, port, sherry liqueur juice etc. Glasses, 2 jugs and a huge cocktail jug from the same collection. I do have a third matching decanter but there are water marks in this one only.. Which do not show when in use. I will be listing this on separately. CONDITION: Excellent condition, no sign of any chips, fleabites. Some water staining on the inside. Priced accordingly.
