A Good, Early 19th Century English Pearlware Plate with Pratt style Decoration. The surface with a very slightly textured, satin glaze. The rim with a shaped and moulded’shell’ design and glazed in green. The central field with a brush-painted and sponged design of a pheasant within a fruiting vine. 10 inches in diameter. Some wear, nibbling and chipping to the shaped rim in places. Please ask for extra photos if necessary. No cracks, breaks or restoration. Extremely RARE and Unusual Early American Electric Bear c1908

Extremely Rare & Unusual Early American Electric Bear. Electric Growler Battery Operated. Wood Wool And Cork Chips Stuffed. This is a very unusual bear that I cannot find in any books; the nearest I can find is electric eyed bears made by a few early American bear manufacturers like Fast Black Skirt Company (New York City) among others. This was maybe a prototype that didn’t catch on as it would have made a buzzing sound rather than a growl. The bear was untouched when he came to me but I was intrigued by the Bakelite button under his left arm and so had to open his rear seam to investigate. What I discovered was a Bakelite buzzer mechanism operated by a very old form battery and a bear stuffed with a mixture of wood wool and cork chips. This along with the remains of a cloth nose lead me to think that he is very early. Also he has boot button eyes that appear to be original and not replacements for electric eyes. He has jointed limbs but a fixed head and is very solidly stuffed. He has pads of a felt / brushed cotton material that appear to me to be original and in good condition. He retains at least 70% of his mohair and has three claws on each limb. He wears his red knitted top that he came with which gives him a Pooh bear look. Rare Early Historic Antique Navajo Transitional Chief Blanket Hand Dyed Large

This is a large and very fine antique Navajo rug. It appears to be a Transitional era piece and the artistic design is phenomenal. It is incredibly heavy for its size and weighs a bit over 10 pounds. It is quite thick with a very tight weave. The wool all appears to be hand dyed and has the great looking variations in color from the dyes being hand dyed. It measures approximately 55″ x 84″. It has some wear and minor discoloration here and there from age and use but overall is a fantastic looking early Navajo blanket. An old straw filled brown teddy bear. Walking posture. Early 20th century. Rare

An old straw filled teddy bear. 51 cm long x 26.5 cm high x 18 cm wide. There are a number of old patch repairs, some holes in the fabric and an opening to the top of the back left foot. The bear has a lean to the left as the left legs are slightly misshapen. It has a great aged look and displays well. I have taken a number of pictures to give as accurate a description as possible. The bear is modelled on all fours and has real charachter. It is staw filled with white stuffing to the feet. The bear has been well loved over the years and is a rare survivor. If you would like to collect in person, cash on collection is fine. All items will be professionally and carefully packed using professional packing materials.
