RARE ANTIQUE THOMAS WEBB RUSSELL Fine Diamond Cut Glass Bell DECANTER SIGNED 14
RARE ANTIQUE THOMAS WEBB RUSSELL Bell shaped DECANTER Fine Diamonds Cut Glass SIGNED 14. I have listed two more of these which are in superb clear and clean condition on a separate listing. Of the same set. This rare antique Thomas Webb in the RUSELL PATTERN decanters are a superb quality Stourbridge cut glass item. It measures a grand 14 in height and are made of clear diamond cut glass with a fine diamond band near the top, all being intricately cut by hand, with a star cut base. This is a real masterpiece of early 20th century Stourbridge, England glass. The stopper has a bulbous faceted stem which matches the bulbous faceted lower part of the neck of the decanter. The top of the stopper is also matching with diamond and fine diamond cutting. Originating from Stourbridge England in the 1920s, these early 20th century decanters are handmade and signed by WEBB, ENGLAND. The acid etching is incredibly hard to find but on all the pieces I have listed they are present. In the photos I was able to photograph the bb of Webb in one photo and a partial England in the other. The stopper on the decanter has matched numbers with the inside neck of the decanter and the outer peg end of stopper. The elegant round bell shape and intricate diamond pattern make them a unique and luxurious addition to any collection, perfect for serving water or wine in a sophisticated and stylish manner. Please see my other listings of Webb England Russell for many sets of 12 wine, whisky, port, sherry liqueur juice etc. Glasses, 2 jugs and a huge cocktail jug from the same collection. I do have a third matching decanter but there are water marks in this one only.. Which do not show when in use. I will be listing this on separately. Please feel free to message me if you have any queries. Great for starting a collection, or replacing pieces or as gifts for those who love the Stourbridge cutting of early 20th century glass. They certainly are an eye pleasing show stopper. One worthy of the CONNOISSEURS of finest wines and finest glass! Height 14″ x 5″ base diameter. CONDITION: Excellent condition, no sign of any chips, fleabites. Some water staining on the inside. Priced accordingly. In the last photo the decanter for sale with this description is the one on the right. The other two available have no inside water marks. Please message me if you need help finding them. If you need more photos or information please message me… I try to describe all the items as accurately and as honestly as possible, and I always include photos or scans of the actual items. My items are usually vintage or antique, very rarely new, and condition will sometimes reflect this with minor marks, wear on gilding etc. Anything major such as cracks chips or major loss of gilding etc will be pointed out in the description and shown on the photos. If you are still unsure as to the condition etc. I do my best to research the item and its history and pass that information on to my customers, you can google items and find the same information I do. Vintage or pre-owned items will often show some signs of wear due to their age, and there may be something I overlooked. Any condition outside normal vintage wear, like chips or cracks or serious defaults, will be noted. International buyers please note. Also take a look at my other items for more Asian, cloisonné, Glass, Antiques, Silver, Bronze, Copper, China, Horn, and many other collectables. Thanks for looking??

Mappin & Webb 6 Solid Silver Spoons HM1918 Rare Modernist Design Cased 55g
MAPPIN & WEBB – Cased Set of 6 Spoons HM 1918 – Rare Early Modernist Geometric Stem Design – No Engravings. A wonderfully intelligent and forward-looking design from Mappin & Webb, dated 1918 yet strikingly modernist in spirit. The stems carry a crisp geometric rhythm of alternating circles and angled cuts, a pattern far more reminiscent of the Cubist and early Deco movement that would dominate the 1920s. The finials are left clean and blank, giving the spoons a sharp architectural clarity. It’s an unusually avant-garde pattern for M&W at this date, and the set survives in its original Mappin & Webb presentation case. A rare and very stylish group. Original M&W fitted case. Condition: lovely clean condition, especially considering they are 108 years old, with only light age-appropriate surface marks – please see the photos. A superb and unusually modernist Mappin & Webb design – an extremely rare pattern, almost never encountered, and a standout example of M&W pushing into modernism long before the Deco era. And, whilst you are here, please do have a browse – I have many other interesting silver pieces available. Ay’s own procedures. Please let us know as soon as you have received the item if you wish to return it. Then you can simply return it within 14 days, in the same state in which it was received. Please note that we take extra photos of items for our records prior to sending to show condition. We do not give discounts.
