Straight from a Massachusetts doctor’s personal collection to you is this just absolutely fantastic, and you don’t have to love and appreciate antique and vintage Ame ri can advertising to see that this early 20th century Vaseline Preparations color lithographed enamel tin upright early mercantile store display, with various color product tubes pictured on the front door of the case, is one big, bad, lean and mean piece of Ame ri can early advertising. Extremely rare and with few ever available on the market quite like it, this nearly, if not 100 year-old tin store display, is a highly coveted and exceptionally scarce Ame ri can mercantile artifact. The Ame ri can company Vaseline, which was growing quickly in popularity throughout the Unit ed St ates, introduced various additional products in addition to its core moisturizing and anti-inflammatory petrolatum based ointments, such as the various tubed products, captured in color lithography over a faux wood lithographed enamel, upright tin case. It still has one red and orange cardboard carton box containing a lead tube holding Carbolated Petroleum Jelly.
