Rare 19th Century French Antique Cherrywood Refectory Serving Dining Table. Without doubt one of my favourite pieces of furniture. These have so many uses from a dining table to a large console/table to a kitchen island/counter or a side table (I’ve even seen them in butchers at blocks). This is in fantastic original condition with wonderful patina but structurally still very solid given it age. As you can see, it does have some character marks which I think only adds to the charm however you could sand it down and refinish it if you were looking for perfection. A super piece of furniture at a very modest price given the quality. Height to the bottom of the skirt is 49 cm so it could benefit from being raised slightly if you plan to use it as a dining table. This antique torchere side table is a unique and extremely rare piece of furniture. With intricate carvings and a beautiful dish top, this table is sure to make a statement in any room. The table top is made of elm, while the rest of the table is made of rosewood, giving it a traditional look. This stunning dished top table/torchere raised on a well carved fluted and turned reeded column terminating in three curved legs and pad feet. Such a wonderful patina. A very unique and stunning piece. 32cm between the legs. Collection from Grassington welcome. A Rare Early 20th Century Brass Table Light by Dugdills. A wonderful piece of lighting from the early range by the iconic John Dugdill, an absolute beauty of which this is only one I’ve seen. Dimensions in inches: H 30″ x W 14″ x D 10″ Shade H 10″ x W 10″ x D 12″ Origin: English Age: Early 20. This antique object is completely solid in structure and form, firmly in place but shows natural aging across all surfaces, wear commensurate with age, very good overall. The lamp will need to be mounted to either a flat surface or wall, it does not free stand. Rewired to a UK 240v switch power source, with switch on and off attached. The flex cable which is (beige in colour) is loose to the frame (does not run through the neck of the light) The cable has been photographed without the power cable in certain photos to show its structural form as it stands. All electrical items should be checked and / or installed by a qualified electrician prior to use, rewired in twisted flex. The measurements above are not for the item fully extended but in the half-articulated form. It’s a lot longer when fully extended. A direct message usually takes 24 hours to answer. Expect our items to show relevant age and natural wear, we only restore due to breaks and major loss, and we always stipulate this in our condition report if this has been down before or after we have obtained them.
