This rare and handsome piece remains in varying condition (please see condition report for specifics and exceptions), bears no monogram or erasure, and lays in wait for the collector! I have had so many inquiries about the hallmark. I took this to Skinner Auctions and they immediately identified it as James Geddy. They do not do authentications unless you pay. I have finally located their source. Many have not because it is under the name James Geddes-same person son of gunsmith James Geddes of Williamsburg Va.
