The underside is marked with the Wedgwood & Co unicorn and the figurine also retains its original foil label. This terrier measures 12cm in length and is 12.5cm high. An impressive’nkisi’ power figure of haunting presence, yet pared down to a minimum of paraphernalia compared to other Songye power figures. (horse-) hair in the nostrils, a bead necklace and a skirt, held in place by a belt made of felt, and a single nail with hemispherical head in the belly. The sculpture is made from hardwood with a dark brown blackish surface and mounted on an exquisite purpose made stand. The height of 37,5cm is without the purpose made stand.
