Impressed Royal Doulton mark to base along with etched and painted designer and decorator marks. In good antique condition with no damage. Height: 24.5 cm.

Eugene Deutsch Vintage Antique 1940s Artist Signed altered studio ceramic pottery drip glaze Vessel Vase – Rare Piece Chicago Artist VG – no flaws! Eugene Deutsch 1904 – 1959. Frequently also spelled Deutch was a famous 1940s Chicago pottery artist (Wilmette suburban Chicago also). Some similar works of his have been on display at the famous Art Institute in Chicago. Clearly signed on the bottom as E. Deutsch but unfortunately no date – we do know that the 1940s was his productive time period. You will never find another like it. The bull measures 8 in length. And 6 in height. There is crazing throughout the bull which is to be expected for a piece this old. There are no chips or repairs.
