Rare Signed Early Adams Blue Shell Feather Edge Creamware Meat Dish Platter. 17 x 13 ¼ x 2, c. Rounded rectangular oval shape with molded blue under-glaze feather edge. Impressed circular ADAMS WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE (without the center eagle) mark. Furniss, Wagner & Wagner, ADAMS Ceramics, 1999, shows variants of this pattern as shell edge on pp. Remarkably good condition with just some minor nicking wear along the top edge, mostly just to the edge glaze. Set of antique Wedgwood plates and serving platter in the early and rare Chrysanthemum pattern. Size of plates is about 8 1/4 DIA. Size of platter is about 14 1/4″ x 10 3/4″. Overall good antique contrition for their age. Some wear to gold and light crazing consistent with age. One plate is cracked with an old staple repair and has a pice broken off. This plate will be sent as a free item if you’d like, for glue or restoration. One plate has nicks to edge. Sighs of use to bottom of all pieces. All impressed with Wedgwood mark. Rare Finest Quality Early Signed Herculaneum Blue Willow Pattern Meat Dish Platter. 20½ x 14½ x 1½ h, c. Oval indented edge shape with flat bottom. Three man on bridge standard willow pattern. Distinctly bluish rippled glaze. Shows a signed Herculaneum plate, 9.9 in. 1820 in this standard version and a somewhat earlier Herculaneum two man willow on a 12.6 in. Impressed all caps HERCULANEUM mark. Godden mark #2007, c. Rare fine signed example with very slight natural wear but no damage of any kind. All Items Are Sent Insured.
