Outstanding Rare Large Red Consolidated Art Glass Pigeon Blood Bittersweet Vase

A Fabulous 1920’s Antique Red Vase. Collectors of Consolidated / Phoenix Glassware know that red pieces are very rare and desirable! This wonderful Bittersweet Vase is believed to be the work of Reuben Haley as part of the much sought-after Martele Line. It measures about 9-5/8″ tall and 5-1/4″ wide. The opening is about 3-1/4 wide. My grandmother was a well-known life-long antique glass collector here in Minnesota. In the 1970’s, she gave this vase to my mother, who is also an antique glass collector. The color is a deep ruby red or pigeon blood color. There are bubbles inside the glass, and a few other manufacturing inconsistencies, which attest to the age and authenticity of this piece. There is very minor wear and a couple tiny pinpricks along the rim, from years of careful enjoyment. Nothing interferes with the beauty of this piece. An essential item for a serious collector. 13 RARE EARLY 1925 OUTSTANDING CHILTERN TEDDY BEAR FULL, LONG, GOLD MOHAIR. Excellent example of an early antique 1925 Chiltern Teddy Bear. Adorable teddy is 13 tall, combo stuffed with excelsior and kapok and a full coat of beautiful long, gold mohair. Black vertical stitched nose with longer outer stitches and precious smile. Amber glass eyes are stitched in. Velveteen paw pads are present and intact. Bottom paws are cardboard lined, spot where label was is evident on right foot. An outstanding, characterful & rare early to mid 19th century pine one piece corner cabinet having two panelled doors both with working locks and keys, two fixed shelves in the top part and one fixed shelf in the bottom part, original hinges, original mouldings to the top, middle, bottom and both sides and original back panels with period steel banding. Dimensions: 102cm wide; 60cm deep;187cm high; 73.5cm from rear corner to front (along wall). In good strong condition, does have many marks and imperfections commensurate with age but these only add to its tremendous character. Just been hand prepared and waxed to a beautiful colour and finish. Customer collection now possible under the recently revised regulations. DELIVERIES DURING THE CURRENT PANDEMIC. 13 (33cm) Rare Antique French All original Early Outstanding Papier-Mache Lady Doll in Original Gown, c. Solid domed papier-mache shoulder head with slender oval face and elongated throat, black enamel eyes, painted eyeliner, fringed lashes, arched brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, black pate with center crown slit for insertion of brunette human hair wig with narrow braided chignon, original muslin body having shapely bosom and tiny waist, kid arms with stitched and separated fingers. Wonderfully-preserved early doll with beautiful face and painting, very sturdy body is wearing her original underwear, dress, headdress and straw hat. 13 (33cm) tall French, probably Andreas Voit, circa 1840.
