A very Rare Original Wade figurine of a Panther on a rock by Faust Lang, made in 1939. Fully backstamped underneath wade 1939 and impressed Faust Lang on the back, measurement: 230 mm / 9 inches tall, 153 mm / 6 inches length. This figurine has been professionally repaired on his neck which is not noticeable when on display and has crazing due to age. This figure is never seen anymore and is one of the most sort after faust lang figurines. A wade collectors dream. Thank you for looking.
Very Rare Early Heals Antique Mule Chest with Original Interior – Stamped. A very rare model of an early Ambrose Heal designed antique solid oak mule chest / bedding box that is in such fabulous, original condition and with the Heals makers stamp. Dates to around 1900, this antique Heals mule chest has a lift up top with the original quality hinges, inside is the original lift out storage compartment with a large free storage space beneath. To the lower front of the chest is a single deep drawer that runs well and has the original brass shaped handles. Beautifully made in solid, well chosen, quarter sawn oak timbers with the front stiles having channel mouldings. A great size that provides plenty of storage for a bedroom. The african tribal silver tea pot form is specific of the mauritanian tuareg nomadic tribes, in north western africa and is made out of pewter and then decorated with copper and brass pieces which are hammered into the shape and then soldered into place. It has a beautiful handle and lid. Great decorative collector tribal ethnographic piece. The tribal design on each teapot is the signature of the owner. I have not cleaned this, right out of NH estate, 4. Overall very nice condition 5. Very clean inside, looks like it was never used 6. Very tight, staves are tight 7. Metal bands are tight 8. Lid does not go all the way on, lid seems to be slightly swelled 9. The meal diamonds are something the Shakers used on all of their buckets 10. This is cherry knob, also used on the buck lids 11. Very nice patina, has not been oiled, this is all natural aging color 12. Notice how clean the bottom is, this has been sitting in one place for many years. Across the top 5.5 in.
