THERE ARE MANY CHEAP COPIES OF THIS FIGURE BUT THIS ONE IS THE REAL DEAL. A figure of a Russian Wolfhound dog made by Augarten during the original period of the early 20th century it was designed in. The figurine is the smaller version being 2.5 inches tall, 4.5 inches long and 2.125 inches wide. The dog is in perfect condition. Marked underneath with the blue shield with the crown on top as well as the word Wien underneath, an impressed number 1713/I, Augarten Austria in a red rectangle and a black painter’s number 74. Original Rare Wemyss Ware Vase / Bowl c 1920s Jazzy / Moorland Pattern

This is a rare and beautiful original Wemyss bowl from the first pottery in Fife Scotland. After the first world war Wemeyss ware went out of fashion. The 1920s were known as the Jazz Age so the then head designer, Edwin Sandland introduced the Jazzy range in an attempt to regain business, it didn’t work and they went out of business in 1930 and moved the whole business down to Devon, this piece was made around 1920 before the move to Bovey Tracy in Devon. The fact that this range didn’t save the company gives it that rarity value. The bowl is 11 cm in diameter and 13 cm high. RARE EARLY PAIR MURANO GLASS LAMPS. Impressive and rare pair of murano glass lamps. The glass is hand blown in style of ribbon work and latticino. Three colours of white, green blue and gold fleck (copper aventurine). Elegantly shaped and standing on original metal bases enamelled in the original colours. These lamps will need rewiring. An exciting, rare and highly decorative unique original pair of side lamps. Size – 63 cms. (53 to top of glass) Total Weight – 4.7 kgs. Extremely Rare Opalescent Madonna and Child. Centre Piece Art Deco Original on Stand. This is an art deco large pretty Opalescent original Centre Piece with the Madonna and Child figurine. It is very heavy thick glass throwing out colour. This was made in France by Etling Glass in the Depression Era 1930s. The Madonna is holding the Child on her left side with both Madonna and the child facing the same direction. Madonna has a long gown on with a veil over her head. The metal stand has “MADE IN FRANCE” on the underside of the stand. The Madonna is 11.5 inches or 29 cm high and 3.5 inches or 9cm in diameter across the base. The Madonna and Child Figurine is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or damage. These are getting very scarce, you don’t see them very much anymore. Have a look at all the photos to see the lovely colour and condition. I know what it is like to get broken items and feel bitterly disappointed when they are not wrapped properly. There is some staining to the interior, however i don’t believe that his detracts from it’s beauty, but it is reflected in the price.
