Early Original Antique Rare Charles Wheeler Bamboo Fishing Fly Rod 11′ 6 Long

11′ 6 long with each of 3 section measuring approx. 46 3/4 , is this very early original Charles E Wheeler bamboo fly rod. 3 sections and a wooden tube cradle, appears to be all original, rattan cigar grip, with soldered nickel plated reel seat and butt. All swivel strings guides appear intact, to go along with the spear tip ferrules, original red string wraps with original shellac and patina. Rod has a pat date Jan 10 1888 but no stamped signature that I can see? Many Wheeler rods were unsigned, but I’m fairly certain that this rod can be attributed to Wheeler with most characteristics being spot on. Tiny rare early long face antique Bebe Schmitt doll mariner costume perfect

Here is a beautiful and rare, early long-faced French Schmitt bebe in tiny cabinet size from early mid 1880’s. She is about 14 tall and is marked size 5 with shield on back of her head. She has perfect pressed bisque head with NO repairs, chips, cracks, hairlines, wig pulls or damage of any kind. She has dark blue paperweight eyes. Her painting is delicate and fair in color and she resembles an early EJ Jumeau but with more subtle painting. She has a dreamy expression and darling in this rare small size. Her body is fixed wrist wood and composition Schmitt body with flat butt. It is not marked but is definitely a Schmitt body. She has her original cork pate, blonde mohair wig, antique socks and shoes, and is wearing an antique will cream color mariner outfit that has a few moth holes. Of course there is a matching hat. This is a lovely doll for an advanced collector. No French doll collection should be without a bebe Schmitt! RARE 12 EARLY HARWIN & CO. ENGLISH TEDDY BEAR c1915-18 LONG ARMS & HUMP

This gorgeous little chap is a Harwin teddy bear and early, dating to c1915-18. This company ceased trading in 1930 so these bears are very sought after as not many remain. He’s a wonderful character, despite having lost his nose and mouth stitching. I will leave this to his new owner as Harwin bears have distinct mouths and I think best left to a professional to do. He has his original clear glass eyes with remains of painted backs. He has very long arms, a large hump, and his legs are set high on the body… All characteristics of a Harwin bear. All his original felt pads are intact with no holes or repair. There are only a few claw stitches remaining. The mohair is quite sparse overall but only what you would expect from a 100+ year old bear. He is straw filled (wood wool) throughout, and all his joints work well. Teddy is in good clean condition for his age. He has been well looked after. Such a great character! The item “RARE 12 EARLY HARWIN & CO. 13 RARE EARLY 1925 OUTSTANDING CHILTERN TEDDY BEAR FULL, LONG, GOLD MOHAIR. Excellent example of an early antique 1925 Chiltern Teddy Bear. Adorable teddy is 13 tall, combo stuffed with excelsior and kapok and a full coat of beautiful long, gold mohair. Black vertical stitched nose with longer outer stitches and precious smile. Amber glass eyes are stitched in. Velveteen paw pads are present and intact. Bottom paws are cardboard lined, spot where label was is evident on right foot.
