Striking looking arts and crafts period tale lamp of turned and flared form hand painted decoration and signed by C Beresford Hopkins of the Yardley school and former foulton ceramics artist. Good original untouched and uncleaned condition couple of minor redundant insect holes barely noticeable and retains its original silver plated fitting but will obviously require a re-wire prior to use. Offering this antique handmade metal tin set of tidy lamp stand and Betty lamp. Measures 10″ T x 6.25″ base. This is a hard piece to find. Stand made same time in the 1800s for the Betty to sit on. Has a great patina and wear. Both are in good overall condition. The bottom of the tray does have rustic hole damage as seen. Nothing loose or unstable. Great piece of lighting. Came from a collection of good lighting. Expect imperfections consistent with age and use.
This antique vintage pewter and glass whale oil lamp clock is a rare and unique piece.
