A extremely rare example of a large vintage industrial Mekelite floor lamp by Mek Elek Engineering. A superb lamp of amazing build quality & scale, in exceptional condition from the massive cast iron base to the near mint green enamel shade. Of all the industrial lighting I’ve had over the years, this is likely the most elusive & certainly one of the most impressive. Wired in twisted black flex. Approx 130cm to the switch, 175cm as pictured in the main image & 248cm flat out. Measures: Base height 43, Width 13, Depth 13, cm approx. Measures: Shade height 18, width 27, Depth 17, cm approx. Bulb: bayonet – wired with plug. Sellers notes: Please note this is a pre-loved item therefore imperfections have accumulated over time. The lamp stand and shade have lots of wear and tear; scratches, scuffs and light rust. A fantastic & rare early Dugdills work lamp. A wonderful, early model with a heavy cast iron base, articulated arm & green & white enamel shade. The subtle differences to later models set this lamp apart from the rest, the brass addition to the upright, the diminutive base & the original enamel shade finished with a black rim. An exceptionally original example of a lamp which rarely turns up for sale any more. Rewired in twisted black flex. Wear commensurate with age, very good overall. Rare Large Antique Weller Pottery Lamp Signed Leffler

Leffler worked at Weller beginning in 1920, and he moved to California in 1928, so his work is hard to find. The lamp is 6″ wide at its widest point, and the painted wood base is 5.5″ wide. Condition: the lamp needs to be rewired, but the pottery is in very good condition with no loss or other problems. This will look wonderful when it is rewired and a shade is on it. Rare early vintage Herbert Terry Anglepoise Lamp 3 Step Base 1227 in Black. Made between 1935 to 1938. This came from an old workshop in Cornwall and is in as found condition. It is working but it would advisable to replace the old cord and bulb holder. All the bolts, screws, springs etc on this lamp are original with no replacements. The lamp holds its position well at a variety of angles. Please zoom in to study pictures carefully for best description. Will be packaged very carefully in a sturdy box.
