Offering this rare antique metal tin wire 6 hook utensil rack holder. Measures 17 x 17. This is a Pennsylvania piece with thin metal wire ornate hearts and a finial style top. It’s missing one of the hooks on left side but still consists of 6 hangers. Has some loss of wire and the original mended or sautered areas so had been wired by a previous owner. Has an old bold green paint with some wear and paint loss shown. Great piece for whisk brooms, hearth utensils, etc. Fantastic for your homes decor and display. It has been beautifully designed having an early pink celluloid handle (Horner experimented with this then new material). It has a wide opaque white swirl that leads around the marble in a long tail, giving a planetary, swirling effect of molten action. Type: Greiner marbles are among the earliest type of handmade German glass marbles, from an important and formative period in the technical history of marble making – consequently these marbles are often referred to as as’transitional’ marbles.
