Rare Antique Solid Silver Dutch Import Embossed Box Early 1800’s – 350 Grams. Here we have a Rare Antique early 1800’s hallmarked Dutch foreign Imported Solid Silver Box also fully hallmarked London 1891 at the time of importation however i have found that the box might be a lot earlier going back to the very early years of the 1800. The box is fully Embossed scroll and flowers around the sides with a fully gilded interior and the scene on the lid depicts activity within a household around 1657, this date is written in Roman numerals within the scene. The box itself has had a few knocks over the years but nothing excessive as can be seen in the photos. The measurements are 132mm x 85mm x 53mm depth. The weight is 351 grams.
