A beautifully ancient part of a Roman gold earring , dating circa II – III century A. This wonderful gold earring displays the great craftsmanship of the ancient goldsmith who created it. The terminal is in the form of a shield with five small circles and the details are remarkable for such a small piece. The earring is formed of five strands of twisted gold wire, two of which are twisted filigree and the other being plain twisted wire. The terminal has chased decoration as well as applied coiled and filigree wire. Condition: Excellent, beautifully preserved, with no restorations. Rare Antique Thai Bronze Gold Gilded Rattanakosin Buddha, ca 18C-early 19C. Up for sale is this beautiful rare antique bronze figure of standing Buddha made in Rattanakosin style. Both the style and the posture are classic for the Rattanakosin period and style. The Rattanakosin kingdom is one of the most powerful kingdoms in the history of Siam. Unlike Sukothai and Lanna styles, which vanished, Rattanakosin style was the continuation of Ayutthaya style and quite different from other styles. The material of choice was bronze. Condition is good with the age appropriate wear to the gilding. Size: 11’/ 28cm high. This piece was bought from an antique collector in Thailand about 12 years ago. We list it as 19th century. ANOTHER GREAT WATCH FIND FROM ANTIQUETIMEONLINE. OFFERED FOR SALE TODAY IS THIS BEAUTIFUL 1913 GENUINE ROLEX SIGNED TOP QUALITY WORKING ORDER RARE LARGE LADYS ROLEX 9 CARAT SOLID YELLOW GOLD WATCH & BAND IN LOVELY CONDITION WITH A GORGEOUS WHITE ENAMEL DIAL. This is an absolutely lovely 3 piece genuine and original FULLY SIGNED double hinged back and front solid 9 carat yellow gold round with a beautiful LARGE round watch case. The case is in excellent condition with no noticeable dings and very light wear that I can see. The case sides are excellent. The inside of the case is beautifully engraved with the wording ROLEX’ & the rarer’W&D’ marks and it is also numbered. The gold mark is’9′ and. The hall mark is for LONDON and the date mark is for 1913. The case measures 2.6cms (26mm) across EXCLUDING the lugs and crown. This is a wonderful excellent condition white FULLY ROLEX SIGNED ENAMEL dial. All of the black painted Arabic numerals are SHARP and crisp. The dial has a gold dotted outer chapter ring which is excellent. There is one light hairline which runs along the edge of the dial between 10 and 12 o’clock which is not very noticeable. The dial is fully signed ROLEX in black. The dial has 2 original blued steel stunning hands which look to be in excellent condition. The crystal is plastic, is new and is in excellent condition. This is a wonderful really clean genuine ROLEX FULLY SIGNED high grade quality jeweled lever movement. It looks to have had little intervention and the top plates have a lovely Geneva striping and the word’ROLEX’ stamped onto the plate near to the mainspring barrel (see photos) This fantastic ROLEX movement is in working order and has been serviced by my watchmaker. The movement winds fine and sets as it should. The watch keeps time to within a couple of mins per day as tested over a 12 hour period. All in all this is a beautiful ROLEX original movement. This beautiful timepiece is fitted with a lovely solid 9 carat gold expandable sprung band which is stamped for 9ct gold. The band is in excellent condition. The band will fit a lady’s wrist. I estimate up to a 7 inch wrist. THIS IS A FANTASTIC AND EXTREMELY RARE GREAT CONDITION ROLEX WRISTWATCH. There is NO exception. I describe all of my items to the best of my knowledge. GUARANTEED TO BE GENUINE ANTIQUE AND OF THE PERIOD STATED. An Early Medieval Gold Ring. Byzantine Empire, circa 8th – 10th century AD. The gold bezel of the ring is shaped as a quatrefoil – an ancient symbol of good luck, health and fortune. The original stone didn’t survive. The ring was recently set with a cabochon garnet. The ring comes with a metal analysis report showing 90.73% average gold content min. Reading 89.01%, max. Reading 91.60% with additions of copper 0.329%, silver 8.902%, zinc 0.115%, nickel (-) 0.073%. Weight 11.63 grams Ring size 7 1/2 (18 mm).
